Walk with me to the top St. Jeroni of Montserrat, Barcelona, Spain.

Two things that are important in my life, music and everything that goes with it, parties, concerts, etc. and walking in peace in primeval nature.
Kind of Yin-Yang ☯ in me, where this is not only contradictory, but also complementary.
You can also find peace in music and music can also be found in nature.
Reaching the highest point St. Jeroni of Montserrat mountain, was still on my bucket list, because I couldn't do it last July. At the time I was also just a bit too stubborn and optimistic after Covid, but my motto remains "Never give up, look for your own limits and respect them!"
This time I was better prepared. With my backpack, enough water, Ventolin and walking sticks I started the trip again. I did smuggle a little bit, by taking the Funicular de Sant Joan for the first part. After all, I had already walked the first part last time and someday, when my body can really handle it again, I will start the journey all over again.
This walk and climb takes about 3 hours (round trip) and it took me 5 hours, but I made it🙏 and that's the most important thing.
How wonderful it is to walk and climb in breathtaking surroundings and to enjoy the primeval nature.
Sit back and relax in your own bubble. Just being dependent on me, myself and I. No stimuli and being away from everything that is going on in the world for a while.
I was looking forward to taking a break at the cute little hermitage Santa Jeroni⛪, which you will come across three quarters of the way up the route.
After taking some rest at the hermitage, I continued on my way and even though the top was so close, I think this was the toughest part.
But wow, the area is incredibly beautiful. Reaching the top was my goal, but I found the environment more impressive along the way.
Mission accomplished. 🏆
I recommend everyone to visit Montserrat once.
In addition to the tourist area at the monastery, there are many hiking and climbing routes where you imagine yourself in another world.
And even though my body was still quite upset for a few hours after my route, I am very happy and proud of myself that I achieved my goal and also of my mom, who patiently had to enjoy herself downstairs.❤️
