If any of you are wondering if these shocks will make that much of a difference in ride quality and if they are worth the cost (like I did). Well, let me just tell you they are worth every penny and they make a huge difference! If you buy these you will not be disappointed. Jason, thank you for letting us know about these fitting on the x4 they are awesome!

2 questions for you, did the shock really improve the ride? Mainly in the low speed bumps? And did removing the sway bars help or hurt? It’s just me, my wife and 2 little kids and I love unit but I really need it to ride smoother, thank you

I noticed that these shocks are available on the Walker Evans website now. Great news! In your opinion is the ride quality of the new Walker Evans shocks worth paying an extra $2000.00 for? I've been wanting to upgrade the shocks on mine but I'm wondering if it will be worth the cost. Thanks for all the great videos! Keep up the good work!

That is all going to depend on you riding I guess. They are a big improvement in all situations but you reap the most benefits from them riding hard. Now that I’ve had them on there for a while I would not have an X4 without them. Also I’ll give you this. I was all set on removing my sway bars to help it ride better but with the Walker Evans I no longer feel the need...lol.

Do you miss the self leveling OEM shocks?

Nope. Not at all! The ride is so much better to never give the self levers a thought and I’ve pushed the X4 hard with people in the back and it does fantastic!

Hey Jason, I just installed Bandit shocks on my 2020 x4 and it seems to me if my rear suspension is fully compressed the reservoir will come in contact with the upper control arm. Can you verify? Thanks for your response!

The Walker Evans I had never did but I’ve never ran or seen the bandits on an X4 so I can’t tell you if they will or not. I would say if they are set up the same as my walkers were with the shock reservoir towards the front and not out towards the wheel you should be fine.

I ride a lot of "Shale" mountain trails.I'm not a real hard rider either. I just got some new tires that helped a lot but not sure if the $2k would not do that much for my style of riding and comfort . Any food for thought Or recommendations ? Thanks Mike

Usually I just have everyone call in to mention the channel but I just emailed to see about setting up a code specific to my channel so give Walker Evans a day or two to set one up then I’ll get back to you. That will make it so much easier for online ordering and probably should have done this earlier. I guess I’m still new to all the ins and outs of this business.😂😂😂

Are these shocks rebound adjustable too or just preload? My biggest complaint is how the back end bucks me right into the air on the medium sized bumps when I get going a little too fast. About to pull the trigger on a set

Preload and compression adjustable. Have 13 “clicks “ of soft to firm adjustment.

If you’ve hit the notification bell and it’s on it must be something on RU-vid’s end. This is a common problem they have...lol. Look at it this way, now you can binge watch a bunch at once!
