A cool concept on an ATV for sure! Not too keen on using it for a lift, especially since you have to actually be on it 20' in the air! :O The ravine/bridge out idea is frikken cool!
@Dougwalker6365 I agree,the one i was thinking of, you took the lug nuts off put it on over the studs and put the nuts back on.The design on the atv is way better.
Ok, I was going to make a remark about, you could simply just get a 4 wheel drive quad... then I saw the clip at 1:53 Now I want one!!! sure would make deer hunting a lot easier!
This has been done since the 50s 60d it's nothing new but no safty service would use it as it's pulling you off to the side plus the rope can bind up on the wheel or axle as your pulling yourself out. There's a guy in Australia that's trying to sell these things so it'd be patended in Australia maybe the world as well since it's such an old idea.
so what happends when u snap an axel? or ur flooded out? this seems like a good idea but not effective to replace a known item that does better in the field just my 2¢
couldnt if you had it on the front and the back and put the rope to front wheel and back it could be 4wd? that would be cool if you had 2wd like me haha
