We are in the middle of spring over here in Western Australia and the wild flowers are out and the sun is shining and the wind is being kind.
Been practicing with the low level flying, it's a ton of fun, but can be very dangerous ha ha
Crash compilation coming soon LOL
Using:
-SJ - VO1 Goggles - 7inch display with diversity receiver (very good goggles)
-5045 DAL Props (amazingly tough)
-TBS Triumph antennas (
-Aomway Long Range Helical Antenna (very impressive for cheap price)
-Runcam 2 Camera for filming (Horrible - don't buy one)(that crackling noise on the audio will drive you insane!)
I have since bought a Foxeer Legend 1 cam - Super Impressive!

Thanks man, yeah I am gettin there with the flying, been strating to practice a few flips and stuff lately, theres so much to learn with these. You will have to deal with the snow soon right? Our summer is scorching hot, it's almost unbearable bro

Nice smooth flight Jax! good to watch a smooth flight for a change i'm getting tide of seeing quads flipping every 5 seconds gives me a head ache lol.

Thanks mate, yeah I am the same. The FPV guys tend to go a bit crazy with the fipping and stuff. Having said that though, now that I have started doing a bit of it myself, those vids that used to give me a headache have suddenly become quite interesting ha ha

Thanks BD, the water doesn't scare me too much, I have been flying through that section a lot and it has been full of water. I did freak out there though and pull out, I was gonna go right after the water, but chickened out ha ha

They call them ghost branches, you just can't see them until your flying through them, it's because the FPV footage in the goggles isn't HD. Thanks heaps man (-:

Thanks Bob, yeah I thought this song fit this vid quite nicely. I have been flying quads for a couple of years now and used to fly helis a bit so I already had the flight controls down, it's just the FPV side that I have had to learn, it's all about precise throttle control, especially when your flying low like this while under something. Greg D RC Do some youtube research before you buy anything. I looked at the runner 250 but there are a lot of bad reviews on youtube about it. The F210 is really great.

kick ass jax! how many degrees is ur camera angle? took mine out last weekend and she fell out of the sky, damn

Thanks mate, I have the camera set on 32 degrees. I have never had mine fall out of the sky, sometimes I will get out of range, it just twitches and beeps but usually it picks up signal again and I can continue flying, if not it still keeps flying a little and comes in for a softish landing. Gets out of range if I fly through bushes and the antennas fold down.

Jax Teller RC 32 degrees seems like it would b great for fast flying and im still trying just to get the hang of it so im flying as slow as i can but im having trouble telling if im 10 feet off the ground or 2 feet. any sugestions?

4thGloryMonday Yeah 32 degrees is good for fastish flying, but not super fast and can still slow down and see when you need to. If you are having trouble telling how far off the ground you are, I would say your fpv camera maybe has a not very wide angle lens? I can't say I have ever had any trouble with telling how high I am, but I did try a different camera the other day with a small angled lens and it was not very good

Nice flyin Jax! Wow man really surprised it was a RunCam2... have to be the worst quality I seen from RunCam2, really overexposed and just not handling the changes in light well at all. Weird man should be much better than that.. where did you get it from?

I think those bright clouds were really playing havoc with it, the sound is the worst thing about this cam. That crackling sound from the audio is terrible. Not too bad if you play music over it, but wheyou are just home after flying and trying to relive your flights it will drive you totally insane! I got it from banggood. I have since bought the foxeer legend 1 and that is an amazing camera, no wind noise and far superior video quality, no issues at all with handling dark to bright, I love it and highly recommend it to anyone (0:

Thanks heaps mate. The runcam has ok footage, but it is always struggling going from dark to bight and blacks out the screen too much, plus that horrible crackling sound from the audio is terrible! I have got the foxeer legend 1 now, and it is sooooooooooo much better than the runcam and cheaper too (0:
