Problem with the regular walker with my dad is after his stroke affected part of brain that deals with balance/coordination so he leans back unless he has something to lean forward on. The motion to lift the walker is enough to cause a fall. He has a 3wheel rollator for in house and 4wheel rollator for outside adventures.

I am now using a 3 wheeled rolater that only has brakes while you are using it. While it is easy to use, it does roll away and I get nervous using the brakes sometimes. I ordered a standard walker and did not know how to use it and was very grateful to find this video. I also looked at one of your other videos and immediately put the chair protectors on the bottom of each leg. It glides across the floor with ease. I will be getting wheels and because of the video, I will be getting 5" instead of 3". Thank you sooo much!!!!!

Thanks for the tip on switching the wheels to the inside. Exactly what I needed!

I have not yet found where anyone says that to level a walker that has front wheels, you must have the back legs a notch higher then the front. Because the front wheels are an extension of the front legs, and if you do not raise the REAR LEGS A NOTCH MORE THEN THE FRONT, THE WALKER WILL ANGLE DOWN FROM FRONT TO BACK AND NOT BE LEVEL. SO ADJUST THE REAR LEGS ONE MORE NOTCH SO IT RAISES THE REAR LEGS HIGHER, AND THEN THE WALKER WILL BE LEVEL. EVERY WRITE UP SAYS THE 4 LEGS HAVE TO BE THE SAME HEIGHT, AND THIS IS ONLY CORRECT ON NON WHEELED WALKERS. BUT ON WALKERS WITH WHEELS, THE REAR LEGS MUST BE ADJUSTED 1 NOTCH MORE TO MAKE THEM LONGER THEN THE FRONT TO COMPENSATE FOR THE FRONT WHEELS, AND THEN THE WALKER WILL BE LEVEL

In india two types of wheeled walker is available . One is with smaller wheels and other is with little big wheels can you suggest what kind of wheels are better big or smaller ones

Please do not advise to put the wheels on the inside of the walker, firstly it narrows the ground base and makes it slightly less stable, secondly the space for the user is reduced. It is unlikely but there is more of a possibility of catching the user's foot on the wheel.

My neighbor has switched walker wheels to legs nearest him instead of on front. Is that safe?

Should be on smooth surface, but I'd suggest a rollator walker.

To be used outside, what modification can you make to a two wheeled walker's two non-wheeled feet to lessen the wear and tear from concrete and pavement?

I watched your video with the comments about the skis. Would you recommend that I remove them when I return to "inside" use?

Get a rollator.
