Great Vlog , your work will be an important record of Birmimgham ,30 to 40 years time , people will appreciate this valuable record . Ps out of interest what camera are you using .
Thank you for your encouragement 🙂 I've already answered in another comment section, but in case other people want to know: I use an iPhone 11 Pro and a DJI Osmo 3 Gimbal for all my videos
"Winson Green to me recalls the Visitors Centre attached to the prison……I use to be manager many moons ago, also the hospital and in less politically correct times the mad house or All Saints which misdiagnosed so many of my peers we called it All Sinners……Thankyou for another trip down memory lane" Comment from Shireen Barry. Hello Shireen, your comment doesn't show up here so I copied and pasted it 🙂. I don't think I can work or live near a prison. I would be in constant fear & anxiety that the prisoners find a way to escape. I know I am a Melodrama Queen 👑 I thought All Saints was a church, I can see this mental hospital closed down in 2000. Anyways, thanks for watching as always😉
Thank you🌸 …The hospital the prison and All Saints were all major local employers……Where are you from? We need to have a community group on your site where Brummies near and far could recall days of old and new……Melodrama Queen?……less of the former more of the latter🌷………p.s.stop making me feel sooooo old!…
@@shireenbarry9678 Thanks for your comment. I was born in Paris, France and moved to Birmingham in Sept 2013. And I have been living in Moseley since 2014. Lool. Making you feel old? That was not my intention. Have a lovely Sunday 🙂
Love your smethwick video MOSTLY for the descriptions of the buildings an what they used to be to what they are now, that was very cool to see & I’m from smethwick as you can tell from my name... keep them vids coming thanks 👊🏾😁💯
@@raymondturner1478 may be one day you will be migrated, it can happen for you, no one knows what will happen tomorrow, the world is not guaranted place, so keep your ugly mouth and be nice
It's Joseline. Lol 😀People tend to know that I do these type of videos for social media and they are happy to be in it because they want their minute of fame. 😀It is actually in inner city areas that people have the best reactions and are very cool about me filming them.
Looks out dated the same as when I was at school 50 years ago. Not just the shops but the people also look like they need a good blasted wash. Wait till you go up to Cape Hill it gets worse. The people them born in bitter creek and dead in a bitter creek.
@@citiesthroughmyeyes you won't be risking your life far from it. Its no different to dudley Road maybe just a little bit busy. Bear wood high street and Harborne high street you will like and after compare the two to dudley Road and Cape Hill you will see a stark difference how Birmingham City Council choose who they look after the best.
Dudley, is known as the Pearl of the West Midlands. A rich and powerful Town until 1906, the proud Town once known as 'Smethwick' has a population of over 120,000. Visitors and Romani Gypsies flock to this tranquil town frequently. A wealth of sites lies within the walls of the pedestrian-only 'Old Town'. A vast array of halal restaurants and coffee shops can be found on the Dudley Road; Winson Green. It is quite simply a Multi-cultural Paradise. The crime rate is virtually zero, and you will seldom see a Police car. Outdoor cafés and halal restaurants can be found along the Dudley Road. Eat + Drink all day and night. Men usually wear track-suits & beards; Ladies wear expensive frocks.
This food on pavements and footpaths idea of UK really Make me offended. 😡😡 I really fell ashamed front of my friends and relatives who come from USA and Canada they just make fun of us. 😡😡 as soon as i find opportunity I will kick UK of leave it and will move to USA, Australia or Canada to live a clean hygienic and luxury life there.
