You've had all day to come in and shop and you choose to come in at ten minutes to closing? No. Go away, it's going to take more than ten minutes to get you out.
My parents moved to Hansworth in the early 1950s & were married there. I went to Hansworth to give to give a seminar 20 years ago and as I was driving through the busy high street I saw a tall black guy pull a gun out and walk menacing down the street, as people scattered as fast as they could. I couldn’t believe my eyes. These photos remind that once Hansworth would have been a decent place to live. The people I met in Birmingham were friendly and warm and I love the accent. Hansworth was a scary place 20 yrs ago god knows what it’s like to live now. Thank god my parents moved to Manchester.
My ex used to live down Bragg road by Paks, wonder if he's still there? I ised to like going to the shopping centre. The train station has really changed, used to be grim.
WE LIVED OFF THE MAIN ROAD, JUST AFTER THE WAR. DESPITE ALL THE CHANGES, I RECALL THE MANY TIMES PASSING THE ORIGINAL OLD CINEMA, ON THE WAY TO SUTTON PARK FOR A AFTERNOON PICNIC, IF THE WEATHER WAS NICE.
Yes diversity at its very best what a fxxkin shit hole when i was a kid i use to vist my aunt who lived there i drive through it a few times and think what a shithole and its all down to our imported can't say friends just backward uneducated arseholes no idea in pride for where they live. Mind you they've lived their lives in filth nothing changes
Birmingham is full of illegal people and Pakistanis etc from Hong Kong they been living on someone else’s name or passport the uk borders didn’t even bother to check properly.
My grandparents lived in London in WWII and moved to Manchester to escape the blitz. They had an outside toilet, my gran used a mangle. They were very happy. Imagine a life away from all the poison of social media, where you have to physically leave the house to socialise. I'm sure millions of youngsters mental health would be better than it is nowadays.
State of Birmingham its a rough miserable depressing city everyone out for themselves no community or care one of the most segregated racist cities in the UK locals are bigoted and ignorant.
This was 💩 you didn't show the new £700 million paradise or the new bull ring & if you going do a video about nightlife in Birmingham then you go to the main night club district which is Brindley Place & Broad Street hehe lol
Of course (as the end of this video shows) there is absolutley nothing wrong with back-to-backs in principle any more than side-to-sides. The issues they had were: the poor quality of the construction, inadequate drainage and sewerage, damp, over-crowding and the habits of some of the occupants. I like the idea that they were not properly ventilated given that now modern flats and houses are made almost air-tight to reach today's standards and, if the occupants aren't careful, fantastic places for mold to grow.
@@sebastianwelcome2080 Could not believe my eyes it was like watching a train on the way to Mecca. The " Golden Lion " will probably be turned into a Mosque.
That's a busy park! Nice to see so many people out now we've got good weather. I see they're still renovating the Golden Lion! They were doing that ten years ago. This video reminded me just how central Cannon Hill Park was to my life in Brum. Films at the MAC. Dog walking. It was on my bike commute ride. We had an allotment just next to the park. And of course there was parkrun, every Saturday morning.
Nice to hear from you Chris. It was a nice day out. I went to several parks that day but thought I’d filming the most populated one. I wish you a wonderful Sunday. Take care. Joseline.
