We’ve been there many times - we live close Mr. Yager is a Corvette legend and an incredibly nice guy. If you own a Vette you gotta make it to the Funfest!
Boy. That was a great video Lyle. I didn’t know that place existed. I’ll take drive there one day. Meanwhile I’m going to see if they have merchandise on line. Have a great weekend Lyle.
Thanks Lyle I had fun watching you and it looks like they got rid of Herbie the love bug it was there when I was there and did they get some of the Corvettes there from the Corvette museum because it looks like some be long there yes I was there in 2019 too and had fun and I am going to be there in 2024 but this time no caravan I did that and all five tires need to be replaced the four and the spare tire hope to see you there and I am a life member of the museum
I’ve been to Bloomington Gold and Corvettes at Carlisle several times but I’ve never been to Funfest. If that wasn’t to last show as other videos have said, I’ll try to make it next time.
@@davidarmitage9041 It is being reduced to a one-day show from now on, according to Mike Yager. Should still be mid- September. Date not yet announced. Lyle
Wow great show. A lot of beautiful cars for sure ! Living on the South Carolina Coast it's just a tad far for me, or I would be there. Thanks for the vid !
Thanks for the walk around. I have been there once. I would like to take my 1961 C1. But didn't see but one C1 in your video. Was that all that was there?
Hi, Thank you for your videos, I really enjoy and appreciate them. I've owned two Corvette and I'm thinking about getting a C6 or C7 soon. I'm 6'2", 175 lbs., have long legs, and fit in a C6 ok, but I've never been in a C7. I heard your comment that you don't fit in a C7. Just how big are you? Thanks
I have a C5. I honestly can’t tell at this point which one’s styling I love the best. Honestly no ide. I love all of them. Just the rear ends of the C7 and C8 don’t look that pleasing to me for some reason. But their front ends are absolutely beast!
I have a C5 to, and for me the C5 and C4 are the best Corvettes of all Time. C5 is the perfect optical Evolution of the C4. I dont like the C6, because it looks from the Front like an ordinary Car. In the Car World the C6 is still Hot, but in the Corvette World the C6 is on the last Place, in my Opinion.
I hated missing it this year. I went to Phoenix from St. Louis and drove home a 2003 Z06 I just bought with 4,500 original miles when I picked it up. 6,100 now! I am eager to hear what the “big announcement was?🤔
The Big announcement was that there will not be another Multi-day Funfest. They will still do a single-day show each year, but not the big blowout that they have had for the past 30 years. Lyle
I'm sure you wont see this, but Im a younger guy who's always wanted to be a "car guy" but never had money for it. Now I finally have a middle class job, and want to buy an older c6. With c6's being as reliable as they are, is "rental use" still a red flag you think even if everything appears to be ok and there are service records?
