Wow!!! Omgosh Cory! You need 10 of your self to get everything you want done, done. I tried to follow you and keep up by picturing each area. That is alot of work besides keeping up with what is already done in the yard. And you work outside the home. Wow! Question, do they make a better insulated blanket to go over what you already have on the green house? Is that a silly question idk. Was thinking that might be a cheaper way. That other area you ask what we thought should be planted green or Hydranges. I think greenery is needed to off set the beauty if the whole landscape. Don't put so much pressure on your self Cory. I love your videos. You do great and your great at what you do. One day you will be a master landscaper. That bare red branch plant you said you needed to move how big does that get? That might look nice in front of the green trees or bushes back in that one area to bring out color in that area year around and be different. (Sorry, I get turned around in your yard. By the time I sorta get my head wrapped around where your at, your on to something else in a different direction. Lol. So hope I am making since to you.) You put out what ever videos you want when you have the time. Just remember to take time to look up and ENJOY what is around you. The gazebo is a must some day! 🙃
Thank you so much for watching!! I more than likely won’t get everything done in 2022. I sure wish I had 10 of me!! That would make all this work a lot easier!! Lol With the greenhouse, I am not sure if they make anything to go with the cover that is currently on it to insulate it better. Mainly because it has window flaps that don’t seal down all the way. But I do plan on getting new plastic for it when I find a permanent place for it and doing a double layer so I can do an air layer for insulation. I’ve been doing some research on that and it looks very interesting.
Hi Corey, we heard about your channel from Vincent from Our Rustic Life. Love the plans you have for your beautiful land and can’t wait to watch how it progresses. Wishing you great success and plenty of energy…God bless you and your projects 🙏🏼❤️
That is definitely one thing I really need to work on. I have so many plans and I tend to start a new project before finishing another. I just need to realize I won’t get it all done in one day 😂
Hydranga's hedges and red zinnias around the Hydranga's in round space on drive (just a couple of packs of seeds) you can do it Cory - look into pallet raised pool lol
Corey, I've been wondering, in what state do you live, and what is your USDA growing zone? I have the variegated redtwig dogwoods growing in my backyard, the bright red color of the bark during the winter, and how the branches really pop against the white snow is so beautiful. I do a rejuvenation prune (I cut them back to the ground), every three or four years. It's easier for me to do this instead of taking 1/3 of the old-growth out every year. Pruning this way keeps them size-controlled and also lets me enjoy the bright red winter color of the new growth every year. I hope you and your family have a healthy and happy 2022!
That is exactly what I plan to do. I’m going to cut it all the way back when I transplant it. I live in Oklahoma. My zone is 7a. The red stems during the winter was the main reason why I got it lol. Thank you so much for watching!! I hope you have a happy and healthy 2022 as well!!
