My Mom must passed away two months ago, she was half native American, half African American . I'm proud of my Mother and my heritage. Being proud of who I am, took a little bit longer to have peace with.
I wish, that M'Ress had own solo movie/story (It's about damn time if u ask me) like Walking Bear who is as we know, also character from STTAS and long before Chakotay.
This is one of the best storylines I've ever seen in a fan film. Rivals the studios, and I used to work for Warner Bros., so I know about these things.
You have to be kidding. This is pure crap! What WARNER BROS? ???? ,,in the mailroom right? You must have meant WARMER BROS. THE BAKERY DOWN THE STREET.
^^ A verry fitting yet spiritualy well done ending to this fan made eppisode. All I can say is this R.I.P The Mother of Walking Bear may she truely be at peace
Nice!!! An atypical, fun ST episode, with characters from the animated series, Walking Bear and M'ress!!! And they seem to be in a relationship! Very Nice. I give the episode a strong B rating.
Did not know they were from the animated series although it:s been awhile since I saw them. Then again Figured the feline alien was simply the same species as the one from the cartoon
There was an Native American crew member on the Enterprise. He was the ships helmsmen but he served under Captain Robert April during Enterprise first two five years missions. But it's not cannon.
M'Ress it's great to see her live action one of my favorite characters from the animated Star Trek series. May I make a suggestion about the actress makeup try using surgical gloves and make a latex mold of her hands and build around it
Walking Bear was a danger to himself and his team by wandering off after an earthly animal on an alien planet that should have first been considered a hallucination or some kind of alien trickery to be immediately reported to the away team. Let me explain....... I love these fan films and I agree this was a very lovely heart warming story. Such effort has been put into these productions especially with the sets built by James Cawley and Vic Mignogna. However as an optician I do notice an oversight that I don't think would ever would ever be allowed by a Star Fleet officer on an away mission. I have noticed this in the Paramount productions as well but it is more prevalent in the fan films. I am speaking of strands of hair hanging in officer's faces or as in the case of Walking Bear a full thick head of hair blocking his peripheral vision entirely. I would not want my life to depend on a team member who cannot see a threat coming from either side because of hair blocking their vision. Many of the actors in these productions look like they haven't been to a barber or hair stylist in months. Due to all of the attention being paid to the sets, uniforms, special effects, and writing, I feel a hair cut and a touch of hair spray or a pony tail is an overlooked detail that would go a long way. Perhaps I am being too "logical".🤨 BTW....."there was a elephant in the room" that was even worse! I expected the officer with the unbelievable cat makeup, human hair and furry over sized oven mitts to break out singing "Memory" at any moment!
This part of diversity Star Trek still lacks (except Chakotay) most of the time & finally long hair on males allowed in Starfleet (except Worf ... while there was never such restrictions for females)
