This is more Manhattan than the Bronx. If you want a neighborhood to walk through in the BX, Take a stroll up Fordham or walk around Southern Blvd. Hell. I even recommend Allerton (E 212st street. You can take the 2 train) has a great park for bike riding as my recommendations.

Fordham is the 125 of Harlem in the Bronx if you going to stroll The BX Fordham Rd should always be a first stop!

Those pre-war apartment buildings were built over 100 years ago. The fact they still look so good is a testament to the incredible craftsmanship of that time. You know they have been through hell and still look close to their original condition.

wahts sits on the northern most point in manhattan. Inwood is the name of the neighborhood that sits just above wahts, considered by locals to be in wahts, and is the last bit of manhattan before you cross into the BX. Columbia U’s stadium is in Inwood, on the Hudson River, and walking distance to the BX.
