Walking down 30th Ave after snowstorm - Hutchinson, KS

I take a long walk down 30th Ave from Taco John's to the Dillons Marketplace in Hutchinson, Kansas. This walk was taken the following day after the rare November snowstorm that brought nearly 9 inches of snow to the Hutchinson area.
The purpose of this video is to show what 30th Ave looks like today for those who have lived in or have been in Hutchinson in the past so they have a comparison from what was before to what is now. This is also for those who are carious as to what Hutchinson is like and or is thinking about moving here. I do talk throughout this video showing the businesses along the way, but I did not focus on doing very entertaining commentary. It was an overall nice sunny day for a walk such as this, but still required me dressing really warm. Hopefully this video is found to be useful for someone.

Thanks for sharing. In the where the shoe is used to be a theater. Also in the 80s where hastings was a home video store

I was told many years ago how Hastings used to have another store in it's spot beforehand, but it's been too long for me to remember what the name was. I know that Brown's Shoe Fit used to be on Main St many moons ago and that Taco John's used to be on E 4th across the street at the corner from Family Dollar where Beebster's Liquor once was. Taco John's had left their drive through menu board up with everything on it and for whatever reason it remained there when Beebster's Liquor was in business and had remained there a long time after. A lot sure has changed, especially during my short time here. Thanks for the info!

At the 18:18 mark, you began to walk by Gust Orthodontics. His name is Jeff (Gust) and I went to school with his wife, Nicole. I remember the dealership's name used to be Hambleton-Legreca.

That's pretty cool. That Orthodontics place has been there for a very long time as well. I don't think it ever was anything else ever since I've been living here. I never knew the dealership was anything else before what it is now. Thanks for the info.
