Join us on a scenic walk from TD Garden to Somerville, following part of the historic Freedom Trail as we head to the Bunker Hill Day Parade. Starting at TD Garden, we make our way down Causeway Street, cross the Washington Street Bridge into Somerville, and continue up Chelsea Street to Bunker Hill Street where the parade begins.
As we stroll, we pass some folks playing tennis and cross the bridge, taking in the beautiful double diamonds of the Zakim Bridge and the harbor filled with sailboats. In the distance, we spot the iconic monolith of the Bunker Hill Monument.
Our journey concludes at the parade assembly area, where we prepare to witness the parade as it proceeds down Bunker Hill Street and returns on Main Street. It's a day filled with history, picturesque views, and community spirit.
