Another tip is posture the way i remember to have good posture is “Chin up, shoulders back, chest out” and try to sway your hips it’s weird but for me it works
My aches are very high and I have worn high-heeled shoes since I was old enough to start buying my own. Sandals are always my choice. Went hiking once wearing heels. I have never fallen. Love 'em!
Girls please answer or anyone who knows a thing or two about walking in heels. DUMB QUESTION ALERT so like heels make your feet into a tip to position right? So its tip toing. Now you may say that the heel is hard to balance but just ignore it and act like you are tip toing right? So walking in heels is easy right? Tell me why its hard I genuenly dont understand. Like I wore a heeled shoe once(interesting story) and it was a breeze so I dont understand the hype please explain why its hard when its just tip toing.
It's about how it changes your center of gravity really. When you tip toe there isn't much of a difference, you're still basically balancing your weight from your toes to the ball of your foot and you can correct yourself if you start to tilt. (by raising up higher or lowering yourself a bit) High heels are different, especially once you start getting the taller heels. Your center of balance is much higher and your body is trying to compensate for that. You might notice that you stand up straighter in heels, it's to keep from falling forward. What you might not notice that when you walk, your steps go in a straight line, one right behind the other giving you this sort of "swaying" motion. Rather then side by side when you walk as you usually do in anything that has a very low (approx 2in or less depending on age and height) or no heel at all (flats, sneakers, boots, ect) However, while she is somewhat correct on how to walk, you actually want to go toe-heel not heel-toe. You can actually see in the video (it's clearer in the side view, but you can still see it in the front view if you look more at her ankle than the shoe) that when she puts the heel down (going heel-toe as she said), she wobbles just a little bit walking forward (more so on her left foot than her right). But when she's walking backwards she doesn't wobble because she's now going toe-heel, putting more of a "balancing" weight on the more supporting toes and ball. I hope this helps :) @@Scongi
Omg, I don’t have your feet type but I also find higher heels easiest. People always comment on them saying they couldn’t walk in them but I’m clumsier in medium and low heels.
That’s how you fall when you walk out unless you treat these as taxi shoes. You should always walk slightly on the toes, it looks more ethereal too. At least for me.
U learned this when I was at university. My neighbour had a school for models and it was funny to see them struggling 😂. So one day one of them challenged me. First time 12 cm stilettos. Just marched like I was on a military parade but with really small steps. As a result every time she had a struggling student I had to show that it was possible. She was sadistic. After a few months the 43 with 12 cm heels disappeared and a pair with 14 cm stilettos appeared.
I saw this and I was like “hmm that looks easy” I’m 13 and I don’t have heels so I grabbed a pair of my moms heels and I was STRUGGLING and I would not walk more than 2 steps. It was bc they were size 6 and I’m size 9. ( I think so size down in heels bc my mom is size 7) safe to say next time I go to a shoe store I’m gonna do this bc it looks fun. (I forgot my moms shoes aren’t the same size and mine)
I bought my first heels when I was 13)) Best decision cause better look awkward when everyone are(middle school moment), but in your 20s you’ll be experienced enough to slaaaayyy
Bro the fact that a good amount of adults can’t walk in heels but I’m 15 and can dance, sprint, go up and down stairs fast and walk on rocks in 5 inch feels-
Your weight is on the ball of your feet when you stand and shifts when you walk. Keep your knees straight, kerp your posture straight, and heel-toe-repeat. You don't walk toe-heel flat footed do you? Same goes for heels.
You are completely unbalanced in them and it's very easy to tell. You shouldn't be teaching anyone to walk in heels you can't do it without shaking or nearly rolling your ankle.
Absolutely not !!! I walk toe to heal. I never understand heal to toe when you jump off of something and land you always on your toes! Seriously your hyunna put all your weight on that tiny stick
Toe to heels looks very awkward and not natural. But heel to toe looks elegant and looks more attractive. Plus when you walk in regular shoes you walk from heel to toe not the other way around. You only walk from toe to heels if you have some type of health problem
