Walking in the Rain WIP & Waffle | DAS Diamond Painting 

I’ve been a silent subscriber for a really long time, but this painting is absolutely gorgeous! Much love from the Netherlands ✨❤️

So happy that I took the plunge and placed two orders with DASUK! The first order I place was for City Streets in the Snow and Walking in the Rain. Since the exchange rate is so different from the US, I feel justified in at least ordering two paintings. I did really want to get Outside the Sweet Shop, so the very next day, I plunged into the rabbit hole and ordered that one and Loved Ones are Near. I sent pictures to my sister so she could see (she is an avid non-square person) and her favorites of the 4 and Walking in the Rain and Loved Ones are Near. I am so glad that I went ahead and placed the second order! I need to not get anymore paintings for a while as my stash is getting way too big! Counting my WIP and the four I just ordered, I am up to 31 in my stash! I just hope hubby doesn't kill me! However, I purchase with money that is NOT part of the household. Thank you for an enjoyable WIP and Waffle as always!

This is going to be quite the journey together. I love this painting. So, today, we literally started our sections with the same symbol...the circle with the dot. I was on about the 3rd diamond when you said it and I just got a chuckle. And then you switched to the flower pen which is what I'm using too. I'm nearly finished with my large painting I started last May. I went 5 months without diamond painting, so its been awesome painting along with you. Thank you so much for sharing!

In regards to the June waffle…do what makes YOU happy. I enjoy your wip & waffles and prefer that you are doing something you enjoy for 30 days straight.

i’d actually love paintgem minis for june waffle again! especially now that you have so many you need to get through as well!

Hi Rebecca, for the June waffle I will definitely be working from stash! I may choose a canvas similar in size to the advent and use my advent cover papers to section it out. Of course, June is a ways off, and I reserve the right to change my mind 50 million times 😂

Hello Rebecca, I just started diamond painting the first part of January thanks to your videos. You should put a warning at the beginning of your videos warning everyone how addicting it is. lol Since I started I have completed two 30x40 and started a third that I will finish tomorrow. I am lucky in a way since I am disabled so I get to diamond paint as long as my eyes let me each day!!

Great WIP and Waffle Rebecca. I'm just so excited you are doing this one. It is my favorite by far from this Artist and I hope to be able to purchase something by them from DAS. I've a fair too many right now to do and need to limit myself from buying more.

Christmas Birthdays are not something I would wish on any child , I know I didn't enjoy my birthday as a child but reaching my 60th this year I realised my birthday would not be right without Christmas being part of it. I always get to see my boys at Christmas and I couldn't expect to get them all together if my birthday was at any other time.

The gold is my new favorite tray! I’m thinking maybe rose gold may be beautiful! And I think you should do whatever you feel like doing for the June event. Maybe you can make a decision wheel for paint gem mini, 30x40 and a free space maybe?

I just ordered Walking in the Rain, On the Way Home, Rainbow Trains and City Streets in the Snow!!!!!!!!! We just paid for some sick time not used and I spent almost all of it!!!

Regarding the birthday discussion, my mom has always been very good about using birthday wrap for birthday gifts, and the Christmas wrap for the rest. My boyfriend, however, … only uses Christmas wrap.

When I kit this one up. I am going to leave all the symbols in dmc order. I will write a separate sheet for the numbers first and then letters and write what numerical number they are so I can go straight to it. That will make kitting down so much easier for me.

Hi. Adding to birthday discussion. My sister and I are 3 days and 3 years apart. I'm the oldest and I'm on 17th. She is on 14th November. I have not celebrated my birthday for many many years since I was around 13. I'm 52 now. I instead chose a big Christmas as it's 6 weeks later

Hi Rebecca and everyone. I am betting I will be working on a current wip in June. But who knows, I may change my mind by then. 😊 I started turning my bottles of drills so that they face the same direction as my painting is. It saves my brain from the tedious search. Lol Im wondering where is a good place to buy poured glue blank canvases? Have a wonderful evening 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤

Hi Rebecca! For the Hune Waffle, I’d love to see paint gem sets - and am tempted to get two sets for myself to do, haha. Also, is it just me, or do I have terrible luck with light pads? This is the second I’ve had to buy in two years, as they keep flickering and driving me up a wall.

I've never done a larger painting so I'm trying to get a feel for the one I'm working on now. I have a smaller drafting table for your reference and I started at the top left. Why do you start at the bottom?
