This was on our Bucket List of things to do on our travel through Japan. Walking old Samurai Trail from Magome-juku to Tsumago-juku. It is a part of Nakasendo, the route which was connecting Kyoto with Tokyo in the Edo period. We stayed in Magome, slept in Ryokan: traditional Japanese inn and manage to walk 8 km long path through the forest supposedly full of Bears! :)
