Oh my gosh! So many beautiful shells! Any of those big beautiful shells you don't want you can send my way! 😊 So glad you were able to rescue your friend before the waves and current got them! Blessings for more great shelling days!
Good thinking! 😊 Since you are not keeping so many shells that are whole and so pretty in this video, are you looking for something in particular? Love the craft videos! Happy shelling!
@@helenfritzieI used to keep shells and after carrying them back and washing them I ended up giving them away. I still keep few here and there for myself and projects but only if I see something special about them. Today my friend sent me a picture of a craft work and I loved it and would like to make one. I will have to pick very small pieces for that project..Will have a video of it soon. I will change it a little.. Idea is there and need to work on it :)
Sometimes there are way more and all depends on the storms. Some storms bring more and some take some away. I learned that this year. Thanks for watching :)
There are tons of spots for shells here. Shelling season can change too. Some storms brings more and some takes some shells away. I am going back to this spot this week and will do a video but that depends on waves and tide too. Thanks
I love your lucky shell, it’s beauteous! Are there boat services that I could take to this island, or do you take people for a fee (or if they take you out for a nice lunch or dinner to talk about shells!)?
Right!!!! What I wouldn’t give to have this opportunity. Yet he kind of seems to be taking it for granted. I could be misunderstanding, but it is just the feeling I am getting while watching. Honestly, I hope I am wrong.
Wow the amount of shells is insane! Just to sit down and digs for hours, I would be in heaven! Does this area have an actual name? Just FYI, a boring sponge made all those holes in that one shell you called old.
Thanks for watching. I am not sure about the name of these islands because there are quite few of them. They are un Charelston County, SC. I found cool stuff on my Monday trip and uploading video in few hours today. Found fossils..found parts of old ship from the 18 century and the coolest shell ever. Thanks again
I have to agree with you because a friend who told me that yesterday too :) I will try to keep the camera more steady or have less coffee before I go out shelling lol. There is something that I can get from Amazon that helps stabilize the video and will get one soon. Thanks for watching
@@charissescully Is in Charelston SC area. There are many of them but need boat and knowledge of the area. I will be going to some of the nearby island in a week or two and will do more videos
This one is and you have to know how to get to it and how to get out of it too. Is in Charleston County SC. My last video that I posted yesterday is accessible by car. Edisto Beach
You’re finding some beautiful shells but your careless tossing of those shells is a big turn off. Sorry, won’t “Like” or “Subscribe”. Glad your friend is ok.
The shells naturally get pulverized by the surf action until they are just small granules. They will all be reduced to sand so tossing them around is harmless. It’s a beach - not a museum
@@inletboy you don’t need to add to it. Let nature do it’s thing then. And PLACE the shells back where you got them from. Same idea if you flip a rock over, put it back where you got it. If you’re going to be in out in a natural habitat interfere with it as little as possible.
