You guys have another winner here and another one we are going to have to try at my house. I've definitely got to invest in a meat chopper like that. Getting any ground meat to break up when cooking it is always a chore. Your son is so tall standing next to you. You're a little thing like I am. He definitely got his height from his dad lol.

I'm happy to see your son cooking with you. I always tried to involve my kids. One loves it and even became an instructor with a cooking camp for younger kids during the summer. It makes me sad when I hear about adults who only eat frozen meals and take out because they can't cook anything at all.

Catherine, I made this Walking Taco Casserole on Monday. There was just enough left for my grandson and honey to take to work for lunch the next day. I didn't get around to eating my second piece and my grandson was looking at it so I told him to heat it up and enjoy. Thanks again Catherine. Off to make the ice box cake when I pick up my grandson from work. Btw, I posted a picture of it on my FB page and his friend said it looks awesome so I sent the link to him to make it. 😉

My nephew has a Walking Taco business. He is at a lot of the county fairs in the Midwest. He has his own taco mix like you. People line up for his Walking Tacos. In NM, we use Red Chile and freshly made pinto beans, browned ground beef added to red chile (NM of course) !! It's known here as Frito Pie. It used to be made in individual Frito bags..you'd slit the side of the individual small Fritos bag and add the beans, red chile with meat, diced onions, diced tomatoes, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, some people add a bit of shredded lettuce. Frito Pie was first invented and made at the Woolworths Lunch Counter in Santa Fe !!!

Have made some of your recipes, and I love them all. Very easy and tasty!!!! Made the strawberry cheesecake dump cake yesterday. Delicious! Made the crockpot sausage, potatoes and cabbage. Great meal!! Next, will be the crockpot cheesy chili mac. Retired now so I do the cooking the day before and get up early the next day to plug in the crockpot and go right back to bed. My bad!!!!
Hi Joesph good to see you. We had walking tacos at my grandson graduation party 8 years ago they were the hit of the party, we had 4 cases of fritos 50 in each box went thru every bag yummy.
