The Amalfi Coast is probably my favourite place that I have been to in and around Italy. I started in Salerno, then went onto Amalfi (stayed there for a bit), continued to Positano (had a lovely meal there) and then finishing in Sorrento (stayed 2 nights there). And then from there, I went to Capri Islands. Also been to Napoli and Pompeii which are close by

Jason is by far the best Back packing travel videographer On RU-vid. His Sensitivities And appreciation for beautiful things and color are far and away the best I have seen in these regards. I don’t know much about the man but what I do now as he is absolutely stunningly good at what he does. Others do the best they can with what They have. But this man simply has a better eye and more talent for this than any of the others. Well done Jason, well done

Jason, you are my favourite travelling RU-vidr with your excellent presentations and even more so during this extremely crazy time. I just realized as I was watching this video that it was precisely forty years ago in September 1980, while I was living in Milan as an international Dutch Australian photographic fashion model, that I was sent on a fashion shoot campaign to Positano for the Italian fabric maker Ermenegildo Zegna. This campaign was five days of shooting all around beautiful Positano and one of my absolute favourite photographic shoots. I still have the hard covered catalogue as a wonderful reminder of an amazing period of my life travelling the world as an international model,definitely a privileged and unique experience.

Very good video Sir. I LOVE the early morning being in whatever Italian town...Venice is one of my favorite..i used to walk around the streets at 4am until 6 winding up at St Marks taking pictures and listening and smelling the city wake. all the lights....Such a magical time of day. I have never been to Ravello..always a dream..have been to Amalfi though. Thanks for taking us with. That billy goat walk was something amazing..the views..

I had an apartment rental in Positano. What a wonderful place to be and live. Thanks for sharing what I enjoyed! Lots of steps, but when you live there your world is likely no more than 3 stories up or down from where you live.

Jason, the rocks stacked on top of eachother you saw during your hike are a common sight on hiking trails. In Romania we call them "momaie" (english is dummies) and it's a tradition that whenever you go somewhere you have never been before, you have to create one (no matter how big, but at least three stones on top of eachother). Here, on hiking trails, you can see a lot of them :)

I don’t know your plans, but if you are visiting Pisa just for the Tower, you’ll get bored within an hour. Try also to visit the areas nearby, such as Livorno or Lucca.

@@Luke-rw2kv (italian here) for one day is fine, I think; among the side trips that has been suggested to you I tend to prefer Lucca; if you ever come back for another trip I'd like to suggest to include also a hilltown, e.g. Siena (but there are plenty of them elsewhere too); have a good trip and - despite the "distracting" situation - see lots of interesting things, have lots of fun

One week ago i maked a trip similar to your, i was in Naples, i visited Pompei and Vesuvio volcano, caserta's Royal house, then I went to sorrento, rent a scooter and visited all the amalfi's coast. As an Italian i really enjoyed this serie and I'm sad it's finish. Come back soon to Italy, there's a lot of beautiful places to visit, like Sicily! We just came back from Italy and this was an unforgettable day. Those steps at the end were a killer! However there was a cart with a gentlemen serving fresh lemon slush before we starting walking down. It was so good.
