The Hague judicial community payed tribute to Judge Antonio Cassese on 16 November 2011 at The Hague Academy of International Law. This celebration of his life's work and achievements included presentations covering five of the areas of international law which were the focus of his renowned passion and insight: international human rights law, international criminal law, international humanitarian law, terrorism and self-determination.
