Great and well edited video. I have walked most of this section myself and I enjoyed very much this lovely "revisit" of the walks. Thank you! :-) Will also watch part 2/2, to see what lies ahead of me :-)
My dad's family comes from an area of Appalachia where almost everybody is of Scottish descent, so we figured we were also Scottish...but DNA tests showed that we originated in Cornwall. I didn't know anything about Cornwall until I found that out, but now when I see videos of it I'm just totally in awe. Suddenly, my grandfather spending hours upon hours staring out into the ocean makes a little more sense lol. I thought we were Scottish mountain folk, turns out we're Cornish beach people.
Yes I have walked the Minehead to Polperro stretch with the last leg to Poole Harbour left to complete the walk. Have to say it’s an absolutely beautiful walk, never overcrowded or busy and very rewarding. One of my favourites LDP
We really enjoyed this video. The action shots and overall adventure, you've captured brilliantly. Many thanks for sharing from your newest fans (Dan & Beck from TMMDI) 😀🎥💯
Thanks for the upload! I'm planning a thru-hike myself and couldn't help noticing every other thru-hiker starts the trail at Minehead and walks counter clock-wise. Any reason for that?
Also keen to know this. I live in Devon near Bideford, have done some longer walks (up to 70km in a day) but not a huge multi-day hike. Would love to consider this whole thing at some point but unsure what is realistic with this total mileage.
