Join me on a historic journey to the Sherfy Peach Orchard in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where I had the exclusive opportunity to interview Author Tom McMillan on location. Tom, the author of "Gettysburg Rebels," shared with us the captivating story of the Wentz family. Their son, a resident of Gettysburg, left his home for Virginia and joined the Confederate army. Upon his return, he found himself firing cannons across the very field he once owned, towards his father's home.
Experience this heart-wrenching tale and delve into the complexities of the Civil War as we uncover the tragic legacy of the Wentz family. Witness the emotional journey and learn about the tumultuous events that unfolded on this historic battlefield. This exclusive interview is an unforgettable exploration into the depths of history, reminding us of the sacrifices and struggles of those who lived through this turbulent time. Join us for a glimpse into the past that will leave a lasting impact on your understanding of the Civil War.

It’s an important organization and I love seeing my money at work. The organization and all of the donors save thousands of acres from being destroyed.

Absolutely riveting!.. that scenario had to happen I'm sure many times throughout the entirety of the war. People don't think about that kind of shit when they are taught about the conflict......

Very nice touch to add Tom McMillan to describe the Henry Wentz personal story. I enjoy Tom's Antietam Podcast with John Banks. I did not know that Henry owned the 9 acre parcel to the SW or the approximate location of his battery.

After reading his book I knew I needed to meet him. He has a real flare for writing these stories and making them human. You can actually see him visualize the story in the video when he uses his hands to describe the land. Thanks for watching
