I’ve heard some ridiculous things but to frivolously get rid of those Mustangs and other old schools just because you don’t feel like learning about them is asinine. There’s some good money sitting there and people are always looking for Mustang parts so they are worth learning about (especially with having as many as you do). I can tell you first hand taking over the family business means learning everything not just the things that tickle your fancy.
I’m not just going to get rid of them but the age of the 60s-70s and people restoring is slowly dying out. It’s just a lot of sitting space and would prefer someone to use the parts or enjoy the vehicles
Honestly you’d be silly not to learn about the Mustangs and the older stuff especially if you have a knowledgeable dad that’s willing to teach you. Just because you learned so much about certain types of cars already about doesn’t mean your brain is low on memory, you can always learn more. I really don’t like imports for example but I still enjoy watching content on them and the other types of vehicles that aren’t in my wheelhouse because I like to learn and knowledge is power. I wouldn’t get rid of mustangs just for the sake of getting rid of them because mustangs and their parts are always going to be desirable. If you have a dad knowledgeable in that stuff and he’s willing to teach you, soak that shit up.
man i love the junkyard vids, especially walking the yards, and you can 120% produce content doing your everyday job out there taking parts off cars and building cars out of ones to far gone, your literally sitting on a gold mine of parts, trims, glass, some interiors, lil nick nack pieces some people cant find anywhere, and those are real metal cars the older ones, rust can be fixed on alot of it, companys also produce almost every panel for those cars so really you just need vins with titles to go off, yea they can be pricey but some people rather spend that bit less, and have a project they can do on their own, or with family and kids. you can also lol, at the end of the day its your call if you keep or loose the older stock, but it can be worth it to hang onto,
Love to walk around and see all of it. Im 60 and a ford guy. Love the station wagon and the cab over and some others. Haven’t seen an ltd 2 since the 80s. 78 was the last year of them. My first car was a 75 4dr ltd. Awesome car and wish i had it back
Also gotta remember alot of the guys that are into the older stangs are also getting older, so the demand may drop as well, so makes alot of sense to not keep everything around.
