Machupicchu Pueblo, is a pedestrian city since it can only be accessed by train or walking, and there is no vehicular traffic, except for the buses that carry thousands of tourists annually to the Wonder.

Aguas Calientes, called Machu Picchu-Pueblo to differentiate it from the archaeological zone, is a Peruvian town, capital of the district of Machupicchu, located in the province of Urubamba in the department of Cuzco. It is the main access road to the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
