We are taking you on a walking tour through Malmö, a beautiful coastal city in Southern Sweden, famous for cobblestone square Lilla Torg, half-timbered houses and shops selling local handicrafts. I have been living in different countries for 30 years. I lived in Malmo for eight years, and I have never encountered such unhappy people in my entire lifetime.

I call that BS ! I live and grew up in Malmö. It’s just that swedish people can come a cross as introverts and closed up. But as soon as you engage…We are Very friendly and helpful. So I call this statement BS !

The crime and demographic situation of the city is very sad. Native Scandinavians are the minority in Malmo. Crime is rampant in certain districts of the city.

Thank you for the feedback! Malmo is similar to Peter, but again different in many ways. Its good to travel to as much cities and places as possible!

Where you can find cheap or free accommodation ?

I found an accommodation in Malmö using Airbnb, that was the most affordable option at the time. You can try also couchsurfing which often offers free accommodation as well. Besides these two, you can find options using Booking.con or Trivago. :)

@@mat-qt4fq I am talking from my personal experience as I have been invited many times to stay for free. People want to hang around and meet other travelers from all around the globe, not everyone is in it for the money. If you are unfamiliar with the website and term couchsurfing, try googling it to find out more about this. :)
