When I lived in Burbank, I use to run into Roy Disney Jr. a lot to the point he knew me by name. Really nice guy. Also, just to let you know, those weren't the hitch-hicking ghosts out front, in the beginning, (@ the 3:55 mark) it was Constance Hatch-A-Away, the Hat Box ghost, and madam, Leota. Nonetheless, great video as always.
@@v5Clone Well what I was saying, is he said he just saw cosplayers dressed up as the prop he looking at, which are called the hitch-hiking ghost for the ride. :)
When i was a kid Roy was near my neighborhood doing a Disney world preview at this hotel they used for Disney workers and doing some land deals even walt had been at this hotel earlier when he was alive it was before the preview center it had stuff there that was later in the preview center. Roy was really nice he even signed autographs. They tore down that hotel not long ago it was abandon for years i read because of some water damage it had from a sprinkler system malfunction i think around 10 or 20 years ago? Im bad with time, it would have made a nice abandon and Disney history video some remnants are still there it was on west colonial dr in Ocoee fl
I really love the camaraderie Adam and the other Theme Park tubers…really great to see…plus I like Adam focusing more on the experience rather than jumping on wagon on D23 Disney +/SW/Marvel show/movie reveals
I recently found your channel and I really enjoy the fact that you show and detail the "real" aspects of conventions, i.e. the lines, the crowds, the cosplay, etc. Especially loved the flight footage (a couple of videos back). I know that sounds odd but everyone seems to be bent on showing only the "fun and glamorous" parts of these events (which is great/ we need that too) but the flights, the waiting, the shopping (on the ground/ at conventions) is really the heart of these events. Thanks for the great content.
This is an amazing video and I enjoyed every bit of it. It's another time of the year. One need to set goals and take bold steps in achieving them. Remember success are not obtained overnight. It comes in installment; you get a little bit today and a little bit tomorrow until the whole package is given out. The day you procrastinate you lose that day of success.
Well, from my own point of view, you need to invest smartly if you need the good things of life. So far I've made over $325k since September last year in raw profits from just q4 of the market from my diversified portfolio strategy and i believe anyone can do it if you have the right strategy, mutual funds takes long time but investing smartly is the key to short term. Most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest in the market to the cost of proper diversification.
@Bianca Arlette My portfolio is very much diversified so it's not like I have a particular fund I invest in, plus I don't do that but myself. I follow the trades of Karen Gaye Gray. She is a popular broker you might have heard of. I can correctly say she's worth her salt as a financial adviser as her diversification skills are top notch, I'm saying because I see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 10 to 15% on a monthly basis, unlike I can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along, my portfolio just mirrors what she trades and not just on some particular industries of my choosing.
Normal people buy in at high prices the stock market goes down, companies but stocks back cheaper by introducing some "disaster" Stock rises after a disaster and the cycle repeats.. Having a good entry and exit strategy, will make you succeed in the stock market.
@Utkarsh Dharmadhikari Yeah exactly. My money stays right in my account. it's all programmatic, plus it's relatively much easier to set up and connect my accounts than creating a financial pan and drafting investment strategies myself, my account just mirrors her trades in realtime.
When it comes to investment, diversification is key. Also have my interest set on the key sectors based on performance and projected growth, do not invest all your money in a particular sector, diversifying across different sectors is the way to go.
Oh man, Joe's Italian ice has so many great, delicious flavors. If you find yourself thisaway, Joe's Italian ice is about 2 blocks south of Disneyland on Harbor Blvd. You'll love it.
I spotted my husband and I at the Marvel photoshoot. We were comic book Thor and Sif right on the end! Great listening to your coverage on the event. Love seeing everyone's different perspectives!
what a nice surprise to see you today at D23. My son & I enjoyed lunch at the Hilton thanks to yesterday’s blog. Always enjoy what places you share with us all in your travels. Safe travels this 9/11 day today. Till next time.
Great video. I used to work for a newspaper back home. I was covering a hockey game, and the gentleman, who was helping with the scoreboard turned out to be Michael Eisner's cousin. The gentleman was Bob Eisner.
All things Disney….I mean how can you not enjoy an event like that? Walt Disney was one of the people that influenced me to become an artist. And having been born in Santa Ana California, I feel a connection with Disneyland. This event would have been the one to go to. I really need to get myself out there again! It’s too bad you couldn’t have a friend ship your goodies that you would love to buy,to your Florida home. Yeah I know, you’re trying not to buy so much. But oh it would be nice to just get what you want and not have to worry about it! 😎
Hitchhiking Ghosts from The Haunted Mandion Ride. And the little cart looks like it was from the Snow White and the 7 dwarfs ride. The old telephone booth used to be on Main Street at Disneyland.
Fun fact: ‘The Eat Ticket’ is the name of the main cast member café backstage DL, next to the big blue HQ bldg! 😁 (I’ve eaten there. It’s got lots of really cool old DL props and posters inside, too!)
EXCELLENT COVERAGE! So Happy for you that you were able to get into that WDW Construction 🚧 Panel! Your such a History/Media Buff! ( I hope to 1 day Visit Marceline & see your signature on that D23 Bench!)
HEY ATW... I'M LOVING THE EISNER AND ROY DISNEY SHIRTS! The D23 event is definitely something I want to attend someday. So much to see and learn and the merch to buy is stuff I've never seen before. The "Hitchhiking Ghosts" animatronics are park used and up for auction! That would be the top of my want list. Since Disney aquired Marvel and LUCASFILM, they are a "One Stop Shop" for me to purchase all time wanted items.
Like you said day 2 in the books well I say another amazing day in the books and so far day 1 &2 have been great hanging with you Adam and now I look forward to day three and it sounds like something awfully special is going to happen can’t wait now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure wherever it takes you peace ☮️ out ✌️
Love your Roy Disney shirt! Your coverage has been amazing, thank you! It's always a treat to see Chris, his jokes are funny. That's so cool you ran into Mondo! He's awesome, was this both of you meeting for the 1st time?
Your buddy dave would have a heart attack seeing all that figment stuff. I could be wrong but that Pizza planet truck I think belongs to a friend of Justin's. I know one of his friends does Disney stuff with his truck.
Look I'm the last one to spent money especially there but you probably could buy things to make money on in time and that is a thing I am into. But you could send some stuff home you don't really have to take it yourself have fun and stay safe waiting on some back road travel
Seemed like the floor of D23 was mostly queues for shopping or photos. Wish there were more artifacts. I’d give Disney a B- on the effort. But still glad I went! And I did see you walk by…
