At times, we tend to get overwhelmed by the fast-paced run of responsibilities entrusted in our load that we get so distracted from spending time with the God who desires companionship with us. While we may think that our destination is all that matters, the lessons along our journey count most, for it is at this time when God shows His faithfulness.
Luke 24:13 -15 (ESV) - That very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem and they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened. While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them.
Luke 24:32 (ESV) - They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?
