Yes I agree! Time is just flying by. Seems so crazy that we're almost mid feb. Feels like it was just Christmas! So nice to see some warm looking weather. We're knee deep in the -40'sC right now and that feels very far away :D Yes, always nice to get out for a walk. Makes the day feel better.

That's so cold! Even for me and I love cold lol. I'm not ready for it to warm up here in AZ but I hope it warms up for you soon. At least to something less freezing.

That tree is known around the neighborhood as the "happy tree". I love when I can walk by it. They decorate it with different things depending on the seasons and holidays. :)

The frazzled brain is such a thing! I deal with sensory overload quite easily and sounds can be one of the most difficult things to handle at times. There are many sounds I dislike but one of them is white noise machines. These drive me up the wall. While it can be calming to some people it kicks my anxiety up to whole new levels.

I get sensory overload easily too. Probably because I'm an HSP. I also don't like white noise machines. Hate them. I hate the sound of my fans in my apartment. Hate the sound of my AC. I don't like the sound of my washer and drier lol. I like nature sounds but not mechanical white noise.

Roofing has to be one of my least favourite construction tasks when they are in my area. I don't know why it seems so much worse than others but it'll drive me round the twist pretty quick so I really sympathize and hope they aren't right by your window for too much longer at the very least (or you are able to do some extra escape days to your parents when it's bad) I keep meaning to ask, with the theme of your book titles how tempted are you to call one of them Brave New World?😂 It always makes me smile when I think how far apart yours and the huxley one would be...like, idk a weird brain tickle or something. The Huxley bk is one of my favourites so it's unfortunately something I think about far too often🤪 whenever I see your bk on my shelf in fact, despite knowing how stupid it would be! 😂

Omg the roofing work on my building started today and I woke up to the sound of hammering echoing down through the walls. Not great. It seems like they're doing a building a week, so at least it will be done by Friday. But they were still parking cranes and trucks right outside my window today so I'm hoping by Thursday they'll be parking at the other end of my building and give me a break for a bit lol. And lol that's so funny! No, Brave New World is not a contender but that would be so funny if it was. Amazon really wants people to not duplicate titles, since it can throw off search results.

People eating when their mouths open / eating loudly or whenever I share a bed / bedroom with Georgia she breathes so loudly in her sleep and I can never sleep so that 😂 random haha!

My biggest nnoying sound I cannot stand - people smacking their lips when eating! Ugh....my ex-husband used to always do that and every time I would tell him, if he has so much food in his mouth that he can't chew with his mouth closed...then take smaller bites!....but yes, that's my annoyance sound lol

You know, that sound didn't used to bother me too much but I've started noticing it more often in the last few years and it annoys me too lol.

People chewing with their mouths open...I just cannot, haha. For me, I feel like time is dragging and I know that's because I'm waiting on a few important things to come back to me.

Yes, that's an annoying sound for sure. And some days drag others race by, so overall it feels like things are going fast. Hope you get news on the things you're waiting for!

Oh wow, honestly, I have so much respect for people like you. I'm single and only have myself to take care of, so that's a huge part of it. I can't imagine having fibro and having to take care of children. Be kind to yourself, you're amazing. :)

Excessive throat-clearing or sniffling. Knuckle-cracking is Hugh up there, too. Generally men do these things. Enraging.

Omg yes, this gets me too. Especially the sniffling. My students do that all the time, it's been one of the upsides of teaching on Zoom. They're muted most of the time.
