It seemed to me that folks in the UK got the deck about a month or so before those of us in the States.... I guess because the publisher is in the UK.... I but I have to say I am so glad I got the deluxe version I just love the deck and all the goodies that came with it!!! The pin went immediately onto my jean jacket!!!! I’m really loving this deck so far!!!’ Do so love the Magician, HP, Empress, Hermit...and many many other cards in this deck! It’s a breath of fresh air!!!!! Strength is my birth card, too. So I’m kinda fussy about it!!! A deck full of strong women!!!!! Just love it! I was chuckling as you commented on the cards, because I had very similar reactions as you did to many of the cards!!!!

I loved hearing you enjoy these cards! That Two of Wands!!! The 6 of Wands!! I have yet to fall in love with a full on modern deck but this deck might do it! I am so happy to see so many strong, full, fantastic women and particularly depictions of racially diverse women- so many beautiful black women!!! I know you said you don't need cards to show you your life, but I also heard a lot of joy when you felt resonance with some of the cards. Fashion and tarot!! And I celebrate that joy. ;) I wanted to add those Kings look too young and inexperienced for me. It's pet peeve of mine that age isn't shown in the Kings and Queens but that aside, a very fun and celebratory deck.

I just got my first tarot deck today and this was the one I picked!

I have been scouring the interwebs to find the limited edition version but I might just go ahead and get the mass market version. The Emporer card is 😍❤️💕 because it's depicted by a woman with Aries horns. I'm an Aries and the Emporer is supposed to be my birth card!! I’m a woman so it’s hard to connect to the card in most decks even the most modern ones.

i just foudn this deck now and its not available on the site or anything so i had to get the amazon deck, i was scared it wouldnt be good quality since i saw lots of bad reviews about the cards being cut and such on OTHER decks thank you for your review! i bought the deck right after off amazon!

That's no fun to receive your mass market before your indie version. :( I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts and enthusiasm for this deck. The modern aspect of this deck is what makes it so special, it's nice to finally see some contemporary Smith-Waite decks being released (I believe more will be out in 2020). I enjoy the fact that Lisa Sterle has made the art look a little similar to Pixie's while also keeping it close to her own style too, very clever (and helps keep this deck looking a little 'classic'). I wasn't sure what the laptop meant in the Hermit card, thank you for reading that out, it makes total sense now.

This is the only review that helped me as I was wondering whether or not I should get the Loose-leaf version on Amazon... as there are not other ways currently available. It looks really nice and I think I will go with it. : ))

My deck was sent by liminal 11 to me as a review deck and was sent to me before it was released. Both decks are indie decks and were released at the same time. one is deluxe and one is the standard edition and can both be brought via liminal 11. The Deluxe version can only be brought from illimal 11. However the standard versions can also brought on Amazon, worderry, book depository etc💚🙏🏾
