The concrete sidewalk cost was about $800 with an extra $50 for compaction of the stone. The decorative rocks can be quite varied in expense. We used Grey Slate ( @ $175/cubic yard ) which was about $250-300 total. That is the majority of the concrete sidewalk cost - finished. Even on a budget you can transform the curb appeal of a house.
The materials needed are few : 2x4's, concrete, decorative stone, (all of which can be sourced locally) and landscape fabric which can be found at big box stores or Amazon.

Once you find the materials you need, simply follow the 10 steps in the video to completely recreate some amazing curb appeal for your house! This is a job you do not need to do all in one day. We took our time still with a great result.
The sidewalk design can be whatever you can dream up. Your walkway ideas can start in your own head, or look up different possibilities of sidewalk design online. Concrete allows a sidewalk design to be in whatever shape or pattern that works for your area. How thick is a sidewalk can depend. But at least be at 4 inches for your concrete sidewalk thickness. We separated the sidewalk slabs which meant we had to make certain that the gravel below the sidewalk slabs was compacted to allow as little movement as possible after the build of the concrete sidewalk.
