Great tutorials, especially the solid and parametric modelling. With the wall parts, do you have any tips for showing the timber or metal studs in the inner leaf of the wall? This would also apply to joists in floor and rafters in roofs
Hi, thank you for sharing this video. I followed this tutorial video step by step, however, at a point where you click on material tag, when I clicked on material tag, instead of bring the dialog box that says lock 3D view, I got a message that says " No material Tag fammilies loaded in the project, would you like to load one? Yes or No, I clicked yes at this point, I did not know where to find material Tag families, I tried to load one from Annotation folder but did not work out, please what can I do next? I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
Hi, thanks for sharing. I would like to know if it's possible to split the wall just when exporting an IFC, so that I can compute every material separately. Thanks!
Isnt there a process were we can just section each of the parts without cutting it? The process you showed is a bit time consuming. Thanks for answering.
Awesome, but im new to revit and i make some costum wall yesterday and how can i save them in revit family so i can load the everytime when i want to use them? Or make a template?
You must load from transfer project rules tool, opening both files the new and the other where the costum wall is. or you can just load them from load as a group in the insert tab.
