Ah, Wallace & Gromit, the classic stopmotion duo that bought fame and glory to the world. So of course we get a game based on them and it's... cracking good fun.
Wallace & Gromit pay a visit to see Archie but Feathers McGraw has escaped from prison and kidnapped him so the pair give chase in this exciting adventure.
Control Gromit through various locations ranging from a jungle to the depths of a volcano, the main objective is to rescue all of the caged animals and collect a certain amount of tools plus nuts and bolts to gain access to new areas as well as inventing new weapons to use against the robot penguins and shoot obstacles down which Wallace will take care of. There's also coins to be found as well by finding them in hidden places, doing some puzzles and tackling bonus levels which are pretty challenging.
It's a great adventure game with music that fits the atmosphere, creative level design, simple yet fun combat, a great amount of collectibles to find and the charm from the world W&G is here. Only small complaint is that the controls can be a bit stiff when it comes to jumping but apart from that, cracking game overall.
For any W&G fans out there, you won't go wrong with this game and Curse Of The Were-Rabbit too which is based on the hit feature-length movie.
