Text Avery was actually inspired to do droopy based on this character and of course he was able to get Bill Thompson so the current voice of droopy basically imitating Wallace wimple

He was also Professor owl in Melody. Not to mention I believe he also voiced jock from Lady and the Tramp

Yup I think that's the legendary Don Messick!🤔

Bill Thompson was also the voice of Uncle Waldo from "The Aristocats" (which was also Bill's final role before his death in 1971).
