Every time I hear this I think of the actor who played Linda W. in the first season. It makes me so sad that she took her life. This music is melancholic, but I love it. Thanks for posting it.
Based on the novels by Henning Mankell, the Swedish TV series Wallander (2005-2013) starring Krister Henriksson as Detective Kurt Wallander is one of my all time favorite crime dramas. Johanna Salstrom. who played Kurt’s daughter, Linda Wallander, rest in peace. Makes me wonder why some of my fellow countrymen (and women) in the USA watch shows like NCIS, etc.
It is incomprehensible that such a pretty young woman, LINDA W., has chosen to take her own life. What is happening in Humanity but also in Sweden with these issues of suicide? It's incredible: A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMAN...with everything to succeed...!!
have just "discovered" Wallander and am so taken with the characters and the most beautiful, haunting, thought provoking lyrics and music. I am in love with the series on Netflix
@@alan4309 - I'm a subscriber with Netflix and I receive the Swiss Wallander CD's through the mail. The series probably isn't available through Netflix's streaming service.

I agree, provided the melody is beautiful, but you have to give credit to the author of a musical theme, which it sounds - it's a great Polish composer Zbigniew PREISNER and his work Requiem for my friend. This work is dedicated to Krzysztof Kieslowski - famous Polish film director and screenwriter.
