Mega Gas Stations are popping up all over the United States promising amazing snacks and a more upscale experience for travelers everywhere. One of the better known Mega Gas Stations chains is Buc-ee's, which we did a video on a few years back. Now, we wanted to compare it to Wally's, a new competitor in the Midwest.

I went to the Wally's in Fenton a couple of months ago, once at 8:30pm and again the following morning, and I thought they were horrible. At 8:30pm it was almost empty, they didn't have any sandwiches or popcorn or cups for the slooshes. The next morning, 1/2 the stalls were not clean, and the egg & brisket taco tasted horrible. I've been to 15 Buc-ee’s locations, never a problem in any of them except that some are extremely busy.

Went to Buc-ees n TN and the line to get into the parking lot was out onto the interstate. That being said, it’s a cool experience. We are getting a Wally’s in Indiana near where we live so it will be nice to compare.

I’m in Texas, so I’m very familiar with Bucce, never been inside Walley, but looks like Bucce is way better all around.

Have never visited a Wallys, but since we live in Houston, Texas have been to plenty of Bucee's. Always clean bathrooms and lots to eat!!!

It’s a shame that Wally’s has only 2 locations. I feel like if they built more they could be just as popular as Bucees

I've never been. If Target copied they would put Bucee's and Wally's out of business. I enjoy watching the videos but the mystique wore off. Reminds me of 5&10 stores that had food counter service and sno cone and popcorn machines.

I like them both. Wally’s could easily capitalize on the Midwest and Northeast as Bucees doesn’t have a presence up there and just let Bucees stick to the South and Mid Atlantic States!

Wally’s in Pontiac, IL! Bucee’s (in TN) was way too crowded. The bathrooms were amazing and clean in both ❤

I've never been to either of these places, but a friend of mine in Texas sent me some candied pecans from Buc-ee's and they were soooo good! You guys did a great job showcasing both places.

Bucee’s is the best travel center ever! This is just a wannabe copy. Good food, immaculate bathrooms, tons of pumps with clearance for rv’s, def at the diesel pumps and great gas prices! You will never have to wait for a pump!

I spent over $100 at Buc ee’s. Inside the store I’ve spend near $98.00 outside at the pump close to $30

We went to the one in Fenton in July and it was so cool! The people were so friendly and they had tons of things to choose from! I couldn't believe that their other location was in Pontiac! I've not been to the Wally's there, but I HAVE been to Pontiac, and it would never have occured to me to put such a big gas station there! Lol! It looks like both locations are about the same. We really loved their bathrooms, and the murals by them.

We love Wally’s but we haven’t gone to Buccee’s yet. Makes stops makes it so much easier. Their food is so good also and their bathrooms are so clean. Melissa loves the popcorn while I like the beef jerky. Glad you are able to wdit with a little one.

Somebody in the Company Man's new Buc-ee's video mentioned this store, and I immediately wanted to learn more. I really like the old logos on the soda fountain. The retro styled Code Red and Voltage really please me.

I have been to that Wally's quite a few times. My only compliant is the slushie machine is clean mode on quite a few of the flavors.

I have never been to either of these gas stations. Fun to see in both of them. Hahaha my hubby buys that brand of soap😄😂 It is good stuff! Love the pine tar scent! I have never seen it at a gas station before!

Hi 👋🏽 Sorry we’re now responding to this. We’re actually not too familiar with the suburbs. But there should be a Lou Malnatis in that area for sure. Great place to try deep dish. Kuma’s Corner makes a badass burger too.

Wally’s is sparse. You can tell they are trying but there isn’t anything close to comparable. Buc-ee’s blows it outta the water.

Looks like a generic Buc-ee's ..... going to have to be a hard pass for me. The displays look worse, very generic, and I bet the food is expensive and no as good. I've been to a Buc-ee's, and it looks way way WAY better than this on the inside. I also hate companies that emulate the original. You can never ever be the original so why try.
