FUN FACT: Sam Walton was a close friend of George Dayton, who is the founder of the Target Corporation and therefore father of the Target and SuperTarget stores we all know today. Check out my video about how a burned-down church paved Dayton's way to success 👇 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gd_4qmdL0a4.html

Fun fact:my stepdad is from Bentonville Arkansas and saw and met and became freinds with mr Walton in one of Waltons other stores that failed not Walmart and every time we go shopping in Walmart which is every other day he says something about Walton pretty cool
The story about how Sam Walton, a simple man from a sales background who owned a few dime stores in Arkansas, who later founded Walmart, is a great rags-to-riches story about a guy whose discount stores would help save people money and would one day become the king of retail...it was also also not without controversy, however, especially when Walmart moves in, and puts a dozen small business on the chopping block with their inflation-busting low prices. It also should be noted that Walmart is a union-buster, killing any attempts at unions.
