I’ve used this jack a few times throughout the years to a work on a few Hondas I have. It does the job for $60 I’m not sure what you really expected it to do on a suv. It will lift a car just fine. You could raise that suv easily with a $40 harbor freight bottle jack.
I just ordered from eBay. At least it’s the same as my old one I’m replacing with it being slow to jack up and small lift pad. The old one went sideways while lifting. A lot of floor jacks are the same , they’ve got small lift pads. To get a larger one more costly . About the same as max height not being super high. I’ll just add 2 x 6s or 2 x 4 boards. I think low profile and much wider body than my old one is big improvement. My old one was much narrower
Appreciate the vid. It’ll work fine on my Altima and Neon from what I can see, so I don’t feel as bad as I felt when I bought it now lol .. but yeah you’ll need something bigger and better for that vehicle. Cheers
Was goin buy dat fo my dad but it's too low so i went to fleet farm and baought a 2.5 that has a long neck and it could jack up my dad's highlander with no issues!
@@bobspurloc exactly. They are low profile jacks for a reason. To lift cars that are lowered to the ground and won't require much lifting (as a truck would) and to justify that, every jack has markings on the box of how high they can go
interesting... I bought a low profile jack for a reason and that reason was the markings on the box that said it was for low to the ground cars that I own...
@@iangomez8464 LOL... well it is for that type of thing... however if you have ever owned a crown vic, getting a flat tire creates a slammed corner where the "proper" jack cant get under the area to lift the car... just a note, im sure you know this... the way you get a slammed car high enough for a jack thats "not proper" for it like is a thing called a 2x4... these fancy things are how I get a not proper jack under my daughters ilx...
Lmao this dude thinks GVWR is how much his vehicle weighs, and he got a low profile jack for an suv, some people just need to stick to taking their shit to a mechanic instead of being on here clueless and looking stupid haha.
LOL this dude said he got a low profile jack for his daughters car but is testing it on an SUV. I have 100+ other actual car repair videos you should watch and comment on
