Greetings, I have that same grill and the charcoal does not go in the tray to collect the ash, the charcoal goes in the tray that goes up and down. I hope it helps you. JT
I'm on my second one and will not buy another. NO NO NO I'm not bashing! Just upgrading to an offset for brisket. Make sure to clean it and put it under a grill cover after it cools down. It ages quickly within 3 years so be prepared to buy another one. Works great for anything under 3hrs of grilling/ BBQing.
i just ordered one. I was up at Wal mart shopping and seen it. im legally blind so i had to wait to get home to order it. just wanted to say it also has a handle that you can raise and lower the coals.
Our daughter bought my wife one file the Mother's Day. I put it together and made one mistake in the middle! I had switched the two left legs with each other. I had to go back and restart the assembly! You do not want to do this mistake or any other. Pay attention picking the parts. Keep the diagram closest to you, otherwise you might loose the direction. It looks very sturdy.
I have one also. but you have to season your grill inside and out with canola oil or vegetable oil cooking spray to extend the life of your grill and use a aluminum foil pan to put your charcoal in. If you do this you'll get your money's worth plus more✌️✌️
@displayname2198 yeah it’s a nice grill. I did some upgrades to it. Installed the bbq smoke pipe and seal tape. Mostly use it for smoking ribs. Just get the cover for it. It’s additional $34 I think.
