From Season 5 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 12: From All of Us to All of You, which originally aired on December 19th, 1958. Walt Disney is shrunk down to "cricket-size" as he introduces the episode and wishes us all a very Merry Christmas before turning over the show to Mickey and Jiminy. Jiminy invites us to come along and visit Santa's Workshop and to enjoy a Christmas Card from several of our favorite Disney animated films that celebrate song and dance. The following shorts and clips have been edited out due to copyright concerns: Santa's Workshop (Disney+), Toy Tinkers (Walt Disney Treasures DVD: The Chronological Donald, Vol. 3 and Disney's Christmas Favorites DVD), Peter Pan (Disney+), Bambi (Disney+), Lady and the Tramp (Disney+), Cinderella (Disney+) and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Disney+). This particular upload is from December 25, 1960 since it contains an extended preview of the next week's episode: The Postponed Wedding, a special one-hour Zorro presentation featuring Annette Funicello. This aired on January 1st, 1961.
Lastly, again, my apologies for the edits, but it's necessary to remove copyrighted material so as not to compromise the channel's availability. However, there are many period commercials left in this episode! Enjoy!

They completely butchered all the little cartoons and segments from the movie they could’ve shown the whole chip and dale Christmas cartoon they could’ve shown the whole Santa’s workshop literally one minute of each cartoon absolutely the worst editing ever the scenes from Peter Pan, Pinocchio singing I’ve got no strings literally not even a minute of that scene or Snow White dancing in the cottage.

The 1950s and 1960s were a glorious time to be a kid; I was never allowed to celebrate Christmas, but even so, these fantastic Dizney productions helped fill that void in my heart. Thanks, Walt, you made it an unforgettable time to be a kid in America!

I was born in 1954 and when I was eight we moved to Spain where we lived for the next ten years. We would eagerly wait for The Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday afternoon which was dubbed into Spanish. Such wonderful memories. So when my son was born, I made it a point to show him find them in Vault Disney which was shown in the Disney Channel during the 90s. Precious memories. ❤

I remember watching this episode as a child with Mom, Dad and brother. I loved Jiminy Cricket's sweet song with all the other cartoon characters gathering 'round to listen. Loved the "cards" from the various characters. What a charming, innocent, joyful episode and what fun to see the TV shows advertised. Annette on Zorro? Who knew??? For years, even into early adulthood, I looked forward to this episode. No video tapes, DVDs, or streaming to watch these movies on demand. Maybe this made them more special to us in a way one can't appreciate when the move can be watched anytime one wants.

You're right, I have thought about this many times. I so loved the Disney classic animated films and would wait for years to see them in the movies again when I was a kid. I had the soundtrack albums and would always play them and visualize the movie in my head. How I would have loved to have a DVD or tape of them, but you're right, would that have made them less special and precious to me? I truly don't know.

The first time I saw this show was in 1963 when "The Sword in the Stone", came out. The in 1967 it did "The Jungle Book". In 1970 it was " The Aristocats", 1973 "Robin Hood", and finally 1977's original " Pete's Dragon". 1977 was the last show that had an animated movie clip from a Disney movie released during the holidays.

I was blessed to visit The Wonderful Walt Disney World in Florida as a child, I took my children and I visited as an adult. All wonderful memories I'll cherish forever. It breaks my heart the evil that has set out to ruin a family oriented fun place to let your imagination explore Frontier Land, Epcot Center and all the areas of this once beautiful, safe place to take our families.

What a wonderful memory of this. I was very young, but I remember many Christmas Disney shows similar to this in late '59 - '60, when I was 4 or 5. Also met some Finns while traveling in Spain and Ireland and thought they were very nice people. We were also hoping to hop from Finland to St. Petersburg but Putin spoiled it for us 🙄 Anyhow, it must have been fifteen years ago that we discovered one of your film directors that we liked very much. I don't remember his name as Finnish names are a bit difficult for us (even though we love them) but we watched a few of his films. I'm going to look him up again.

Well, they got half the Christmas colors rocking! These old 16mm films don’t age gracefully. They beg for a professional restoration. Some of the scenes in the new Christmas with Walt episode on Disney+ are from this special, in full color restoration.

Better quality copy than the other one that’s floating around the Internet. The image is less blurry and the audio sounds slightly better. Not to mention unspliced versions of the Jiminy Cricket segments that will be useful for my ongoing “Kalle Anka project”, my personal HD restoration of this special compiled from most of its various versions. Disney is doing great and it is as packed with people as it always has been. I was there in November and you could hardly walk in the place due to the crowds. I had a great time. I’m going back in June and expect to see the same thing.

Thanks for this, very magical for kids. I was too young by just a few years to see this one but sure recall the happy Christmas atmosphere of other Disney (& similar) Christmas specials of the time. Now, I'm a mid-Boomer but boy do I see lots of cranky politicized comments from OTHER Boomers here, anti-"woke" & so forth. Lighten up, my peers! When were we such a gripey, negative, reactionary generation? I miss the old days but LIKE how the country's evolved. Change is good, folks! Enjoy then, and now. Merry Christmas.

Back then, there was Jiminy Cricket. Today we have Hegemony Cricket - endless war, constant suppression of the working class, deliberate maintaining of filth, crime, and homelessness in the cities. Fluoride, pop, sugary cereals...all "good for you & refreshing!" 😂 Still, so good to see the Old Disney we all used to enjoy so much & celebrating Christmas with no PC involved. I remember Denmark, Norway and Sweden get see classic From All of Us to All of You in colors for television on christmas eve every years including Jiminy Cricket's Christmas. I hope Disney television animation get make new From All of Us to All of You scenes with christmas special in wildscreen 16:9 HD, instead for 1950's From All of Us to All of You every time in this christmas eve.

Back when saying Merry Christmas 🎄 was acceptable! I Saw this in the school cafeteria (65’)on a projector with the k-3rd assembly. So fun then Santa showed up giving out candy canes. Good times sad now that Happy holidays is the woke expression!

Sorry to disillusion you but " Happy Holidays" is not a " woke" expression. It has been around at least since Victorian times. There are many historical Christmas cards with the expression " Seasons Greetings" on them, Happy Holidays, "Compliments of the Season" etc. Holiday actually means " holy days". People said it to include all the holidays of the season, Christian holy days actually, starting with Saint Nicolas on Dec. 6 ( or even with Saint Martin 's on Novembre 11) all through Jan 6 Epiphany. As a child in the 60' s we received dozens of Christmas cards every year and many of them said Happy Holidays. It has nothing to do with respecting other faiths ( which you apparently think is a bad thing).This was way before what you call being " woke". It even came to include Thanksgiving, really the start of the holiday season in America. Nobody has ever had a problem saying Merry Christmas, that is a Fox News invented grievance made up for the ignorant who know nothing of the history of greeting cards.

@@Gearsandoil Can you read? I just explained to you that "Happy Holidays" has been around for centuries. It is not new and it is not " woke". Don't display your ignorance. Holiday Parade means Christmas and New Years, the whole Christmas season. We said it when I was little in the 50s and 60s, they said it when my mom was little in the 20s and 30s and Charles Dickens said it in the 1800s. Facts not hysterics.. I live in Italy now where for centuries people have said Buone Feste during the Christmas season, i e. Happy Feast Days, because the Christmas season includes a number of religious ( Catholic) holidays. Are you going to call Italians "woke" now too? 🤣By the way, what a stupid word.

John Lennon sawr this version while watching Disneys show televised in England, and got an idear for a song he called FROM ME TO YOU....John allowed Del Shannon an American pop star, to FRONT this number to America in the 1960s in hopes of having a hit make it to the charts in America.....It was the first behind the scenes Beatle number to test the waters in the USA...BEATLEMANIA FOLLOWED IN 1964......

Disney is immoral and corrupted with evil and rot these days. Loved Disney until what they’ve done and making it about sexual orientation which is sickening and appalling. Leave the kids alone and let them grow up with morals and sanity taught the way it used be, leave their innocence alone. Your only a child once and not very long before they’re thrown into a morally stagnant evil world such as today.

As mentioned in the notes from "Keeping Walt Disney", this is actually a "multi-year" production. The main Christmas-themed retrospective of favorite moments is from 1958 (I probably watched it at age 7). But much of the final portion of this film (as noted here) was re-broadcast in 1960 to include promos for NEW attractions ("3 Worlds of Gulliver ..."1960" is visible at 23:00), "The Islanders" (one season..1960 to '61) and "Swiss Family Robinson). Not that it makes any difference, since that entire era was fabulous. Too bad about the Disney empire today; hopefully they will see the grotesque error of their ways. Anyway, thanks for posting.

We've had this show annually i Sweden since.. '59, I think. So much has changed, but this was fun to see. I remember the opening with Walt himself. I think they took that away when he died? But please try to restore it, this magic need a much better image quality!!!

The promise of every authoritarian is that they’ll return you to a golden age that never actually existed. When the complications and ambiguities of reality were hidden from us. Walt was to young to serve in WWI SO he Walt signed up with the American Ambulance Corps, a division of the Red Cross, by lying about his age. In November of 1918, after the war had ended, Disney's outfit was shipped across the Atlantic to France.

These original 16mm prints fade after time resulting in a green hue. Disney could help us out by restoring them to a more vivid black and white, or even color since many of these anthology episodes were originally filmed in color.
