I tie more like Walt does however I keep my super slim because in my experience it works best for me. Thin body. Thread rib and call it good however I have different collared threads to tell me how much weight I have. Dark thread is just the bead. Water olive means 5 wraps of lead and a hotspot color aka sexy walts tells me I have a full hook shank of lead and the sulky rib. Each their own on variations

Too bulky and the hot spot is not needed on a Walt’s.
