Very nice unit, but I don't know if you would ever make your money back on that thing. It's a VERY specific unit for a very small window of tasks, and I suspect once you were quoted the hourly rate you would be looking for all other alternatives. But respect to the engineer and builder, that's some serious equipment.
He has no problem finding enough work for these kind of cranes. In many of the cases where he does the lifting, there aren't many alternatives, mainly due to space issues. And if the only alternative is to lift it in via the roof with a 500+ ton crane, then I guess this is cheaper.
