My condolences to Wayne and his family and friends and all who knew and loved him. He was a great guy, a "Great One" in his own right. Now he's heading to the great ice rink in the sky and coaching from above.

I love Mr. Gretzky when I see him in anything I weep... Honestly I don't know why I think it's because of the reaction from all around.....just a normal straightforward guy....With love of family and hockey ....There was no stopping him

This podcast is an excellent interview of a most humble man whose name is Walter Gretzky . Peter's approach to the interview was excellent because Peter knew that Walter has conducted hundreds of interviews from his home before and has re-told the same stories hundreds of times as well . Walter is an old pro at giving these home interviews … not just to podcasters and to radio personalities but to neighbours and friends who stop in for impromptu visits . And ; so , Peter wisely allowed Walter to talk freely about what he wanted to talk about and when he wanted to talk about it . Rita did a good job , too ; but I would make the criticism that she interjected too often with assumptions in the interest of making a joke . So ; she came off looking like a goof … who was trying to make a true story better than it already is . Nothing beats a true story with good story-telling , Rita . You don't need to spin it with goofy remarks to enhance the story . Even though Walter has re-told these stories countless number of times , he still enjoys telling them , he still has a lot of patience and he still has a lot of good humour . I was impressed at how succinctly and articulately Walter conveyed his family history . It's a great story . God bless you Walter and good health to you … Miles .

Her laugh is awful, and a little loud sitting beside Mr. Gretzky. Control the laugh, and tone it down a notch, it would have made this more enjoyable to watch. I know she was excited, just saying for viewers experience. Just an opinion. R.I.P. WALTER
