Walther PPK/S .22LR - How to Disassembly and Reassembly (Field Strip)

I can definitely say (like many here im sure) ive had by any average metric, an insane amount of experience in and out of combat and (to date) minimal sidearm/pistol competition, I prefer DA/SA, I've carried and operated over 30 pistols, bang-for-the-buck (at the price I got 'em new this and last year) the HK P30LS 9mm and Walther PPK/S .22 with the really good minimag high velocity defense ammo has really surprised me. Had to sell most of my 27-pistol collection. Ones I regret getting rid of the most are: My 1911s, One of my Glocks, a Beretta M9, SIG P220 Carry, HK USPc .45, M&P Shield (The Equalizer and Bersa .380 Thunder are next on my list, unless i come across an HK LEM). And my Ruger Police security-six and GP 100 .357 magnums. I figure at least I know what I want and what works for me, for competition somethinkg like a Walther Q5, VP9 Match, or most-wanted a 2011, for EDC I really enjoy carryinbg my lil Walther .22 around, really surprised in the ballistics testing and accuracy of this gun, for another cheap easy carry gun that will share holsters, same manual of arms in DA/SA and overall feel, Bersa Thunder Combat PLus .380 right now since .22 is mostly all I can afford to shoot I will say this: So far out of it was i expecting quite a few feeding issues but so far not one feeding issue of any kind, FTE, anything in a few hundred rounds of varying high end defensive rounds! Also the HK P30LS is, for my money, the best DA/SA 9mm you can get for in or around $700, you certainly won't find anything more reliable, as a pair it's fun to have two top-tier german engineered pieces, and im rambling now, hehe :P

I would much rather have informative narration than set-to-music, otherwise silent, "instruction". The soundtrack is nice but, really, the Walther PPK deserves to be talked about - introduced for those unfamiliar with this excellent pistol, and reaffirmed, etc. for all others. It doesn't need to be sold as, presumably, those seeking this information already have it. The same pace of instruction is maintained throughout, whether demonstating opening & unpacking the case or disassembling the pistol. The video is very well done, one of the best I've seen, and shows the beauty and fine workmanship of this pistol, and the soundtrack is great- I would definitely use this to show to someone thinking of purchasing a PPK. The information that is sought - field-stripping the pistol - is visual only. There is no commentary about what is being done, tips, things to watch out for, etc., i.e. the kind of valuable information you would get if someone were actually showing you the procedure.

I was told when I got the gun (sportsman’s warehouse) not to dry fire it and I’ve heard since that you are supposed to dry fire rimfire guns but I’m no expert so I’m not entirely sure.

I bought one of these turds and after field striping it and putting it back together the spring shot across the room, luckily I found it and tried a few more times to reassemble it without loosing the spring then I saw your video. It shows a step I missed. Thanks Guntuber
