I'm leaving this comment here so after a month or a year when someone likes it, I get reminded of this song. I love this song ....from Fort Worth, Texas
Like I have said in the comment section on other GREAT Mavericks songs here on RU-vid, "What part of Heaven did these guys fall out of" ? Raul Malo is one of the finest and most VERSATILE vocalists I have ever come across in my 56 years. He can sing damn well anything beautifully, and he projects great stage presence, as does the whole band ! Twenty million thumbs up !
....RAUL'S VOICE APPROACHES THE RECOGNIZABILITY OF SLIM WHITMANS WHERE PERFECTION OF PITCH PERFECT NOTES ARE A NORM. ....ERNEST TUBB SMILES FROM HILLBILLY HEAVEN.
Raul Malo is also a very good guitarist. Greetings. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1c5aEUvBfGY.html *RING OF FIRE* Song by *Johnny💘Cash* Guitar solo version in the style of *Raul💚Malo*
The most talented musicians ever , Raul is an awesome singer .... his voice is one of a kind , all the songs he sings he makes them his own . Love the group !
Had the most memorable evening Saturday at my first Mavericks concert! These fellas have mesmerizing voices& have a TRUE talent many of todays artist lack! They are made of the real stuff!
this is kind of my song from my mom . she would rock me in her arms dance sing to this song when i was just a baby. the mavericks are better than regular country music his voice is amazing
There is no other country band that could to these guys that would compare to the Mavericks no way love there music and country music choices they are the bomb country band eve omg great fantastic band ever
Awesome... But does anyone in TX relate to the Mexican who waltz across Tx to settle the land?? This was ours/the mexican mexicans who settled this land... Think about it, Raul is puttint in your face and WWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rediscovered or first discovered these guys this past year. When you are on the long side of 60, you don't often find a band that truly inspires and excites. Saw them this year after I began to dig them. My new favorite
Don Gossett I had the same exact experience as you Don, They are one of the most fantastic bands ever, right up there with Elvis. He did a 2 1/2 hour show in Royal Oak Michigan-loved every single note they played. He’s got the charisma, and his Orchestra is phenomenal. Extreme talent but great entertainers as well.
Me seven. Or eight. Just saw him in a socially distanced solo show outdoors in San Antonio. We drove 11 hours each way from Santa Fe. Worth every mile of the 1400 we drove. Amazing. Just sorry he didn't play this.
Love Love Love The Mavericks!!!❤ I've seen them twice in Edmonton, and hoping that they come backhoe again. I would go see tgem in a heartbeat!!! Would love to meet them someday along with my 88 year old 'other mother'. She just Loves your Little Piano Man!!! Paul Malo has the most Beautiful Voice... I could listen to him all day!!!!
Oh my sweet Jesus how I love this mens voice. I don’t want to sound stupid or other wise but I just can’t help it I love him or I’m in love with his voice I just want to keep listening to it over and over again, I love him 🤍💖😘!!!!!
Raul is a great singer/ musician / showman , a pro who knows his music history. Very little shuck and jive with this guy. Real Country music. It mystifies me that so-called "country" radio prefers "hot" country pageant winners such as (fill in name here). There is no accounting for some people's musical taste.
Today's radio stations have all been bought out by Corporate, who only care about who pays the most. These truly talented people rarely win any of the talent shows because they don't fit the niche. Blake Shelton will pick a 16 year old blonde with a pop voice every time. People thought country disintegrated in the 90s, but at least we did have Mark Chesnut, Ricky Van Shelton, Clint Black, Wynnona...sigh. They knew about timing, telling a story, showing emotion....I don't know what this mess is today.
@@lucygray6162 all this means is that we need to buy more records and be more supportive of this band and Rosie Flores, Dave Alvin, the Blasters Lucinda Williams, Dwight Yoakam John Doe, Los Lobos and well you know... The stimulus check stimulates more than our pocket it stimulates the person you buy things from too and if we buy from their websites maybe they make more money than otherwise. Right now they can't play out so our buck has more impact on their lives.
The state of Texas should pass a law: this will be the official wedding song for each and every marriage in the state. Beautiful song, beautifully done here
Whenever I feel bad about anything I play Mavericks and open a bottle of wine, and think, well it could always be worse. Nothing soothes a troubled soul than the voice of Raul Malo. God bless the Mavericks. They should be bigger than the Stones.
