----- I didn't realize until much later that my song, "Waltz of David" (the original title) was used as the "Mephisto Waltz" in Netflix's "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" -- the way the music licensing works keeps me from knowing in advance. Seeing the response it has gotten online, I have decided to share the entire song!
It's part of my album "Composed" which you can find on Spotify, iTunes, and pretty much anywhere else. If you enjoy the song, consider purchasing a copy of the song or the album :)

@@utuopialovely8648 I think he must have sold part or all of the rights to some label - and they bought the rights from that label without him included in the process.

A company licenses music on my behalf, takes a minority cut. I receive 100% royalties. However, the way it ends up working is I get statements typically 3 quarters after the license is sold. And that doesn't always guarantee a use. So I have to wait for the royalties to come through which is another 3 quarters. So yeah, it takes almost 2 years for me to really know how a song is used, but I get a majority cut for the license and 100 percent of all royalties :) which isn't much lol

FINALLY I FOUND MY FAVORITE WALTZ! Mr. Crandall you are a genius of a composer. This waltz is the most beautiful one I've heard. If only this was made 20+years ago I would've used it for my wedding's waltz dance. You've done a perfect work

Wow, I've been looking for this for a long time and I'm super glad that I finally found a full version and a creator! It's a beautiful peace of music, gentle, yet it has a somewhat dark romantic feel to it... I'm in awe! (if I could only play the piano well enough... I really hope one day you will do a tutorial on this 😍 One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard and it has many things I find beautiful in songs. You are my new fav artist amongst Ludovico Einaudi, Hans Zimmer and many other. If I were a solid/confident enough pianist, I'd make a tutorial. Alas, it's been years since this was recorded and I don't really read music. That said, checkout the cover by Anellartista -- she transcribed it as part of a medley, and shared a link to the notation in the description of the video.

@@DavidCrandallIsHere I will check it for sure! If I am not a confident enough pianist, but had lessons as a child and I am trying the past year now to resurrect some of my memories and skills. However, this song would be in my top 5 songs to learn first. I also did not read music for very long time, but I have found these tutorials for example of Debussy -> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CKWYl1xKEBY.html where you can actually follow the hands instead. I find them very useful. If you ever decide to do a tutorial, I will be waiting :) Cheers,
