The Avatar's origin was supposed to be incorporated to ATLA. Finally, they made it in LOK. Wan's story is so strong. Now, the rest of the episodes will be better in action, suspense, etc.

*Fun fact:* Avatar Wan is voiced by Steven Yeun, who also plays Mark Grayson (a.k.a. Invincible). Its pretty cool how him and J.K. Simmons (voice of Omni-Man) both played characters in this show.

Love the little touch: Wan means ten thousand in Chinese. Wan was the first avatar ten thousand years ago. Wan Shi Tong (owl) “He who knows ten thousand things”

Wan's backstory episodes is honestly my favourite part of the Legend of Korra. Rewatching it reminded me how absolutely incredible it is

I get chills everytime I witness the beautiful aftermath upon Vaatu when Raava mentions "we are bonded.......forever." and that theme airs. Ufffff. Gives me mountain ranges on my arms haha.
