Hello guys, meet Wanbo X1 Pro. A hidden gem that I should get earlier. It is a 720P LCD projector with Android 9.0 built-in. Saw some of your comparison videos and finally decided on x1 pro. I was almost convinced to buy T2 max from other video reviews, but after seeing your review and 2 hours researching other brands from your best projector list, I decided on this (mi projector is out of my budget unfortunately). @@estebanroblesacuna2451 after a few months of usage and also tried xiaomi ones, save up for the xiaomi ones i would say. You will not regret it. This one is good for its value but definitely you will feel somethings lacking. Xiaomi one feels perfect.

Dear Jayce Ooi You are my benchmark in buying a projector, even your projector's excel ranking table is always in my browser tab. Considering power consumption and price, I plan to buy this projector, but I have one question to ask, how is the quality of using this projector for the long term? does it break fast? because I found several reviews that discussed the Wanbo T2 max projector (not the projector x1 pro) damaged very quickly, even in several uses. I'm a little afraid because the price is quite expensive for just a trial and error, plus in my country there is no service center, I also don't know if the parts in this projector are easy to find to repair/replace yourself in the future. please answer

I've seen other reviewers complaining the adjustments were reseted when the input was changed to HDMI, or that they couldn't adjust keystone when using something other than the built-in android... I'm planning to use an external tv stick and I was afraid it wouldn't work. Sorry to bother, but I've got another question before I buy it: will I be able to project a small screen size (let's say 40") from 2.5m away, just playing with the zoom settings/keystone? I want to project something more like a "TV screen size", without having the projector too close from the wall. Would that be possible? Thanks a lot!

@@felipet1128 If got complains, then it might not work. I don't use keystone correction. Why getting Android projector if you plan to use external TV Stick? Yes, possible. But image quality is greatly reduced with zoom. Same applies to keystone.

Hello, I just bought this model and all good but when it comes to connect an xbox one and open a game the screen starts to blink, apparently detects a resolution higher than 1080 and does not support but I could not solve that problem, and it only does when opening the games, while I'm in the menu of the console does not pass. Hey, have you had any issues with white spots showing? i just returned mine, bought it like a month ago and it started showing white spots like a week ago, ive read it might be due to the projector getting too hot but it wasnt my case, it never went up 50 C.

Hi Jayce. Been watching a lot of your videos. May I know if there's a difference between model: Wanbo X1 Android, and model: Wanbo X1 Pro? Seemingly the 2 remotes are different. Volume left/right vs volume up/down, remote shape and some other button arrangements. Please confirm if there are other differences on the unit itself. I couldn't find it anywhere on the web.

So I went and bought some random projector that claims to be 1080p from shopee. And it hurts my eyes because the menu looks sharp (font, icon) but when i start streaming video it just looks it isn’t in focus even though it is. For the x1 pro, does it hurts your eyes watching some movies or it’s clear as day?

From these 2 - X1 Pro is better. But both of them not so good to use during the day. Better get Android YG650 @ shp.ee/jakewjr That's the brightest budget projector that I have tested yet.

Great review, been watching this and the t2 max video since last night. I'm now convinced of getting x1 pro over t2 max. Actually I was about to purchase lumos ray but someone mentioned wanbo in the comment section from the post I saw, hence the shift of interest. I'm glad I came across your channel. Very insightful inputs. One question though, is the netflix still only supports SD output? or has it been updated to support at least 720p? Please advise.

Hello Jayce, I'm your new subscriber and thank you a lot for your very comprehensive review videos. I'm planning to buy a budget projector for my bedroom. I was going for T2 max, but then I saw your list and this video. Definitely not interested in T2 max anymore 😀 X1 Pro seems so much better with cheaper price. I have questions tho, in my country (Indonesia) there's this brand Mito that just launched a portable projector too. It has the same price as T2 max. I don't really know about the specs other than it has android 9 and 5000 lumins. I'm confused comparing T1 Pro with 300 ANSI lumens and thi MITO with 5000 lumens. Which one is better in your opinion?

No, X1 does not have ARC and game mode. Those are part of Android OS features in X1 Pro.
