As I visit the Black Country Living Museum for the first time.
A full working village, just set in a bygone time! You will get to see the inside of homes & shops from the 1920's up to the 1960's.
The fact that you are free to just Wander About wherever you want is just fantastic.
It's in-between Christmas & New year and I had to get out for a Wander!
This place has been on my list for a while! To be honest It's a great time of year to go, all the Christmas lights & decorations are still on display but as it's after Christmas the crowd levels are more than manageable.
It's a very high quality place, you really feel as if you have stepped back in time!
If you're a 'Peaky Blinders' fan id definitely recommend a visit, as it is the location for quite a few scenes.
Plus with the added bonus of 12 months free return with your admission it really is good value for money. I'd happily recommend a visit if you're into social history/nostalgia.
