Just beat the game and it was absolutely beautiful. Not many games can make me laugh and cry like this. I HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone as it's a game that I'll never forget.
Uh oh this is super cute and totally up my alley. Man gonna see how megaman reviews first but this game I had no idea existed is totally on my radar now. Great review, its super nice to hear from Tom and see just how much he's improved.
I just finished act 3 and im hooked ! Sometimes u just need a lighthearted game to enjoy and sing n dance I especially love when other characters join in with singing The pirate map navigation was just so chill for me that i didn't want to dock at the islands yet, i just wanted to hear the pirates sing
I agreed with your review of the game :) I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of playing Wandersong. It put me in a good mood, made me laugh, and got a lot of "AWWWWW"s out of me. It also had heavy moments, teaching moments, and moments of frustration that increased my emotional investment in it. I'm not a gamer by any means, so Wandersong looked approachable for someone like me who is used to playing peaceful games like Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley. Also, while playing the game, I too couldn't find any other function to the dancing feature. It just jazzed things up a bit and made me giggle.
This game is so fun, sassy, and interesting. Spoiler: I'm not all the way through, but i LOOOOVED playing the show in the second act. Good god it was so satisfying, especially since the game isn't very strict on the rhythm. It's just a joy to play.
Never played that one by Derek Yu and Alex Holowka but I guess I'll have to take a look next time it's on sale! Holowka also worked on Night in the Woods.
You Will also meet a charecter, that is a more...traditionel hero. WHO wields the sword, you fails to yeild, at the start of the game. She has a very, simplistic, World veiw. But if this was a normal game, she would be the player. Controled carecter, or pc.
One thing I didn't like much are scenes where you have to hit notes to continue the dialogues. I mean, in those cases I want to see what's happening but since you need to watch out for the notes, the experience is less than it would have been. But other than that, it was a really fun game. Good game to play after Outer Wilds 😆
@@hopechr It's been a while so I can't exactly remember the scenes. Just any scene with many dialogues and happenings and you need to hit notes to proceed with the dialogues.
I wanted to wait on a sale. I really want to... Oh my poor wallet. Evil GameXplain and gameing industry show and create stuff that makes me happy, and want money from me... ^^
I think this is Jordan doing this review? Your tone and general cadence is much better than it has been in the past, so I can tell that you’re really trying hard to improve your videos, and you’re doing a good job. I think you might be going a little too far here though, because at times you sound artificially happy and cheery. Just be yourself, and try to find some middle ground.
Thanks for the advice. Tried not to force the recording too much, but at the same time I wanted to avoid being super monotone! Hopefully I can keep improving with the next one.
