I fully syn with his story as I & my siblings suffered under severe poverty due to habitual gambling father. Fortunately we had a very hardworking mother who saved every possible penny from her extremely tough hawkering daily from 5am to 4pm. She single handedly pulled the family out of dire poverty.

我敬佩你 ! 我以前不知道你们这几个非常搞笑的新加坡演员，原来你们背后还有这样的故事。怪不得几年后就没什么再看到你们拍什么搞笑新加坡电影。但现在知道了，我更敬佩你们的那种勇气 - 戒赌。我知道是一个无话可形容的挣扎，由其是 “上了瘾”。其实不至赌博，也包括中了吸白粉(海洛因 / heroin)的上瘾，烂喝酒(酒鬼), 烂嫖，都是非常辛苦的挣扎戒去。虽然我住在吉隆坡，如果要赌随时可以去云顶，但万幸我对赌一点兴趣都没有。连过年时，如果亲戚聚多在家时，他们玩的牌子或打麻将我样样都学不会，看不明白，总被他们笑好笨。其实是我自己内心没兴趣学，或者没有赌的 DNA 吧。我也不喜欢云顶，它英文名字叫 “Genting Highlands”, 我却给它起个花名 - “肯定害人” ...

I'm about 90% same as him, if you'r not a gambler you wont understand how addicted will be... couple yrs ago i told myself to quit but fail today i am 37yrs old and im still gambling i loss everything include family and friend, i know im done... if you just started please stop and stay away

赌博全因2个重点，那就是"贪念"和"寻找刺激"。。。如果一个人有这两个念头，一旦上了赌博这趟车，那他将会很难下到车，就算意志力很强下了车的，那也会是伤痕累累后。。总结论是还没上车的，三思而后行啊。还有就是，自己意志力不强，上车的不要怪别人，其实很多时候是自己要去寻找的。在脚还没踏上车之前，请果断的转身离开就好了。
